Summary:
The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for executing ATS's brand and messaging across priority marketing channels and customer-facing materials. This role produces clear, accurate, and on‑brand content that supports revenue‑driving marketing initiatives and the MarCom team's performance goals, such as message penetration and influenced revenue. This is a hands-on role focused on translating business and technical inputs into polished B2B communications. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with subject matter experts, and the ability to operate within ATS's structured, ROI-driven marketing environment.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
Execute organic social media content, including planning, drafting, and scheduling posts in alignment with established messaging, audience priorities, and channel guidelines.
Partner with internal stakeholders and SMEs to gather inputs, validate technical accuracy, and clarify complex information.
Develop and maintain customer-facing collateral such as info sheets, line cards, brochures, and PowerPoint presentations in accordance with ATS brand and messaging standards.
Coordinate with external agencies by consolidating internal feedback, managing content deliverables, and ensuring final outputs meet accuracy and brand requirements.
Maintain organized, up-to-date content libraries, ensuring consistent naming, version control, and accurate file organization.
Support long-form or specialized content initiatives, including press releases, award submissions, and case studies, as assigned.
Stay informed on marketing and digital communication tools and best practices, applying relevant improvements to day-to-day content creation and execution.
Represent ATS with strong business understanding and clear B2B communication in all content produced.
Perform other duties as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
At least 1-3 years of proven marketing experience preferably in a B2B corporate organization.

Responsibilities
The wordsmith. The hashtag creator. Copywriters are the cunning linguists who write what you read, hear, and see. Also, the art director's partner in crime-professionally speaking, that is.
The Day-to-Day: Copywriters are responsible for writing copy on a variety of mediums; social media, blog posts, newsletters, brochures, product packaging, email marketing campaigns, etc. Prior to copywriting for a client, it is expected that copywriters research their subject matter, follow AP guidelines when writing copy, and develop their own tone of voice. Copy revisions are also a part of the copywriting process, so staying close to email/communication updates from their clients is crucial.

* A college junior, senior, or recent graduate (up to six months post-graduation)
* A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field
* A strong communicator with an interest in storytelling, branding, and digital marketing
* Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation Range: $20/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. What You'll Do: Team OBM Communications is seeking a motivated upper-class undergraduate or graduate student to join our dynamic team as a Communications Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in government communications, marketing, and public outreach while supporting key statewide initiatives.
As a Communications Intern, you will work closely with OBM Communications staff on projects that make a real impact across Ohio. Your responsibilities will include:
* Graphic Design & Layout: Create infographics and visual content for monthly reports and performance-based data points.
* Social Media & Content Editing: Assist in crafting and editing content for digital platforms.
* Web Development Support: Help maintain and update web content for OBM initiatives.
