We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented communications and engagement professional to join our change management team supporting the implementation of Workday HCM, SAP S/4HANA, and Ivalua for a leading electric utility in New York state.
This role will primarily support communications and stakeholder engagement for the Workday HCM change management team, but will have frequent opportunities to collaborate with the SAP S/4HANA (finance) and Ivalua (supply chain) change management team.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, edit, and potentially distribute clear, concise, and engaging communications-emails, newsletters, project updates, and intranet posts.
Partner with change management leads to schedule, plan, and facilitate employee engagement events such as town halls, roadshows, focus groups, and training sessions.

The Senior Public Relations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting media relations, strategic communications and public relations efforts that promote Consigli's people, projects and relationships in their dedicated region. This position will collaborate across teams and with regional leadership to help shape and develop messaging, as well as support business development and branding goals companywide.
As a member of the communications team, this role will proactively identify opportunities for storytelling, through both owned and earned media, and manage the development and execution of strategic public relations planning. This role will also support corporate and other regional communications initiatives as needed. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has existing, successful relationships with key reporters and news outlets.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and planning that support business goals and reputational priorities.
Draft, edit and manage the distribution of high-quality communications materials, including but not limited to press releases, media advisories, briefing documents, op-eds, talking points, and more.
Align messaging framework, narratives and collateral across NYC Metro regional portfolio and corporate branding standards.
Engage with regional leadership and project teams to identify opportunities for earned media coverage or storytelling.
Prepare Consigli teams, spokespeople for all interviews and deliver effective media preparation and training as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with reporters, news outlets and manage accurate media lists.
Actively monitor local, national and trade media to stay current on breaking news and industry trends, leveraging thought leadership opportunities accordingly.
Track and report on key PR and media-related data, leveraging analytics to inform strategy.
Draft on-the-record responses, background materials for media inquiries.
Work collaboratively with regional marketing team to support milestone event planning and execution, panels/conferences or speaking opportunities.
Support crisis management and response efforts to ensure timely, appropriate and effective messaging.
Support social media content creation and copywriting to support employee, executive and corporate content.

Qualifications:

Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience with media relations helpful, but not required.
Proficiency in digital tools such as email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), CMS (e.g., WordPress), and social media management tools.
Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

The mission of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is to become the world's most widely used solution for companies and individuals to eliminate food waste in their communities, making food rescue sustainable and universal, and food hunger a thing of the past.
One of the ways Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, Inc. (“RLC”) helps companies reduce food waste is by bringing leftover food from restaurants and caterers to local agencies such as homeless shelters and soup kitchens.
Job Description
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, Inc. (“RLC”) is a non-profit food rescue organization based in New York City that delivers leftover food from restaurants and caterers to local agencies such as homeless shelters and soup kitchens. We have thus far delivered over 1,000,000 pounds of food with the lowest cost per delivery in the industry. Our business model is centered around four stages: (1) proactively seek out businesses with leftover food for partnerships, (2) deliver excess, wholesome food directly to local agencies, (3) use our expertise in food rescue to consult each partner different ways to reduce food waste, (4) partners successfully graduate from the RLC food rescue program with reduced food cost and food waste.
About the position:
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is seeking a community outreach intern to strengthen our organization by developing new partnerships with two key groups: charitable organizations and volunteers. The intern will have the exciting responsibility of overseeing all parts of the partnership development process with these groups including:
-Partner identification: You will use your resourcefulness and research skills to help us uncover new opportunities for partnerships, and to identify the most effective ways to work with those potential partners.
- Partner recruitment: You will use your creativity and communication skills to reach out to potential partners, and to engage them in a mutually beneficial relationship with us.
- Partner relationship management: You will use your organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills to track the status of new and established partnerships, and to find and implement ways to continually improve partner relations.

RLC interns have the chance to work closely with the founders and have the opportunity to make true, meaningful impact in their time with the organization. This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Interns are expected to work 20 hours per week. May lead to full-time position.

Multiple summer internship positions available at an exciting local news site in 16 towns in Southwestern CT. We're looking for motivated and ambitious individuals that enjoy working in a fun, but challenging environment.
