Role Overview
As Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager, title commensurate with experience), you will have full P&L ownership of $100M-$500M+ hyperscale data center projects from NTP through commissioning and close-out, delivering on aggressive schedules for the world's most demanding clients.
Key Responsibilities
Full ownership of $100M-$500M+ ground-up hyperscale data center campuses (Tier III/IV, powered shell + fit-out scopes).
Develop and relentlessly drive CPM schedules, budgets, cash flow, and resource-loaded plans in P6.
Lead preconstruction, GMP buyout, MEP coordination, and value engineering with owner, A/E, and trade partners.
Manage large on-site teams (Superintendents, PE's, MEP managers, safety, QC) plus key subcontractors and vendors.
Deliver monthly financial reporting, forecasting, change management, and risk mitigation to executive leadership and client.
Champion an industry-leading safety culture with zero-incident goals on every site.
Collaborate directly with ownership and private equity partners on client development, repeat work, and national expansion strategy.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of construction project management experience on large-scale projects.
Proven track record successfully delivering data center projects $100M+ (hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or powered shell experience mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred.
Expert-level financial acumen with lump-sum, GMP, design-build, and design-assist delivery methods.
Mastery of Primavera P6, Procore, and complex MEP coordination.
Exceptional leadership presence and communication skills - comfortable presenting to C-suite clients and private equity boards.
Willingness to be based in or relocate/travel to Michigan City, Indiana for the duration of the project (3-4+ years).

Safety:
Ensure that all subcontractors participate in a safety pre-construction meeting prior to starting work on the project
Ensure that all subcontractors have a full set of MSD sheets on the project, as well as their site specific safety plan and current insurance certificate or OCIP/CCIP enrollment ID
Review the project daily to ensure that all activities are being performed in accordance with all OSHA and governing requirements and the project site specific safety plan
Review safety reports and injury data to assess safety performance on assigned projects
Ensure project(s) are budgeted & staffed appropriately to support safety programs
Communicate clear expectations for safety to project teams
Perform safety inspections using predictive solutions software IAW SCCI safety program
Adhere to all Suffolk Safety program requirements
Quality Management:
Ensure that all pertinent benchmarks for the project are established and inserted into the baseline schedule
Ensure that all appropriate individuals become members of the Q-Team
Ensure that all 1st delivery inspections and Benchmark inspections occur per the baseline schedule so as not to impact the progression of the subsequent work
Ensure that the inspections are approved, documented, and communicated to the project team
Subcontractor and Site Management throughout the Project:
Manage site pre-construction including pre-construction survey, job site utilization and staging plans
Mobilize the field office and maintains the job site to Suffolk standards
Organize documentation of the job site for easy access and review
Manage subcontractor performance to quality and ethical standards
Work with PM to identify and resolve personnel issues and construction process revisions
Manage all phases of the construction process including documenting and reporting site activities and progress, manage excavations and assist with Job Site Utilization Plan
Meeting Management:
Attend project turnover, mobilization, and project coordination meetings
Attend/chair safety pre-construction meetings
Attend/chair weekly foreman and safety meetings
Attend/chair monthly schedule review meetings
Attend closeout meetings
Attend owner meetings
Attend/chair subcontractor meetings and any others necessary to monitor and manage the project
Administrative Management:
Complete and implement construction office checklists including emergency phone lists
Complete daily reports and maintains logs of key activities, files, and shop drawings
Manage the quality and condition of all material deliveries
Maintain required safety reporting and all other required files to Suffolk standards
Insure that as-built working drawings are maintained as well as the current drawing log and revision log, communicating this to the subcontractors
Project Closeout:
Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, work list and punch list
Qualifications

The Superintendent ensures successful execution and management of dewatering, bypass pumping or trenching projects as assigned by the Operations Manager, Division Leader or Branch Manager. The Superintendent is ultimately responsible for ensuring projects are completed successfully, on-time, within budget and without injury. Above all, the Superintendent must strive to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction, while always working to protect the company's best interest and serving as a working team member and individual contributor to the overall team's success.
Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact for customers on all responsible field projects
Drive projects from start to finish, coordinate the procurement and assignment of people and equipment needed to perform the work
Verify all safety programs and requirements are strictly followed on all projects
Understand the expectations of the project and requirements of the contract, and ensure compliance with those requirements; attend progress meetings and critical issue meetings, prepare notes or reports as necessary and inform the Branch leadership team of any major issues
Manage progress on projects while operational activities are being conducted, working with Crew Leaders to ensure proper execution of project specs
Responsible for all daily progress reports (Driller Reports, Wellpoint Reports, Pump Water Reports, etc.)
Identify opportunities to build jobs and up-sell customers on additional products and services as needs arise on the project
Document and track project progress, changes, and issues; communicate and inform progress with the Branch leadership team
Participate in estimating projects and the development of proposals for specific customer requirements
Assist in the collection process as needed
Attend industry functions to help promote the image and recognition of the company
Ensure proper documentation and agreements are executed and on file prior to beginning work
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent amount of experience
Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
Leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to read schematics, blueprints and/or technical manuals is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Power Point is a plus
Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
Work under pressure to meet deadlines
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
