What You Bring
2+ years of experience as a Construction Site Superintendent (large-scale project experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of ground-up and interior renovation in commercial or institutional construction
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Familiarity with NYC inspection processes and special inspections
OSHA 40 certification (required)
Tech-savvy - comfortable using OpenSpace, Smartsheet, and other project management tools; capable of saving PDFs, organizing files, and retrieving past communications efficiently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (required); Procore experience (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Manage multiple rehab and capital improvement projects across different client sites.
Assist in preparing project budgets, scopes of work, and cost breakdowns.
Organize and track inventory, materials, and deliveries across multiple locations.
Maintain OSHA and internal safety compliance procedures.
Subcontractor & Procurement Management:
Source, evaluate, and manage subcontractors across various trades.
Prepare detailed scopes of work for subcontractor bidding and comparison analysis.
Train and onboard subcontractors/employees to align with company goals and ROI targets.
Schedule and manage production timelines, coordinating closely with subcontractors and property teams.
Operational Excellence:
Maintain and implement standardized rehab and capital expenditure (CapEx) procedures.
Track project progress with accurate documentation: daily logs, sign-in sheets, specifications, safety records, before/after photos, and more.
Manage administrative functions such as data entry, file management, and use of project management software to keep all stakeholders informed and organized.
Client & Property Relations:
Schedule work in collaboration with property management teams.
Conduct project walk-throughs and punch-outs as necessary.
Provide ongoing updates to clients during and after project execution to ensure satisfaction.

Construction manager job in White Plains, NY
Construction Inspector I should be able to follow technical instructions and learn typical construction inspection methods from more experienced construction inspectors. Work on small projects or portions of larger projects as part of the inspection team. Typical projects include highway, roundabout, traffic signal and bridge
Essential Job Functions:
Locate points on the worksite based on information on project drawings
Identify basic construction operations and be able to locate the correlating information in the standards, specifications and plans
Perform basic math computations (areas and volumes of simple shapes, multiplication, addition and subtraction of various measurements)
Accurately measure and compare measured values with plans
Identify common tools and equipment used for inspection, testing and measuring
Properly identify and use personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the construction site
Identify work zone traffic control components
Prepare accurate and understandable reports of operations
Job Requirements:
Field experience and successful completion of NICET Level I testing and requirements.
Per NYSDOT policy the following will also be considered as holding a NICET Level I (equivalent):
* Previous employment by NYSDOT as a title ET.
* Completion of one year in a program leading to an associate degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent, must include eight (8) credit hours in Math and eleven (11) credit hours in Civil Technology.
A minimum of six (6) months of direct involvement in highway construction inspection or a closely related field or working to obtain a NICET Level I certification or approved equivalent.
Pay Range: $25.00/hour - $34.50/hour
Pay is based on applicant's ability/experience and will be rated accordingly.

You will maintain daily logs, conduct toolbox talks, update Procore, and oversee quality control, especially for ceilings, millwork, and high-end finishes. Your role is crucial in coordinating look-ahead scheduling and ensuring timely project completion while enforcing safety standards and compliance with company policies. There will be exterior work during the day and interior work overnight.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
The work environment includes daytime shifts for exterior work starting between 6:30-7:00 AM and lasting 8-10 hours, depending on weather conditions. Interior work primarily occurs during night shifts, starting at 5:30-6:00 PM for 8 hours. Weekend work is rare, approximately 20% of projects for specific tasks. Mileage reimbursement is provided for drives over 1.5 hours, and a vehicle allowance is negotiable for exceptional candidates.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
