Document daily activities, material/parts used, testing, inspections and visitors. Maintain product warranty documentation. Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain a timely flow of supplies, materials and sub-contractor work. Experience, Competencies and Education Experience in the petroleum industry and product familiarity is a plus but not required. 40hr OSHA Hazwopper training a plus. Installer certifications in the industry is a plus. Equipment operation experience is a plus. Quality Control · Record process for finishing on forms. · Record new formulas in the LCCM's Finish Log. · Ensure Production Packets accompany trim and cabinets to Shipping Department. · Take ownership that all finished goods leaving the paint booth meet LCCM's Quality Standards. Finishing · Receive and prepare materials for finishing to include puttying, caulking, masking, and sanding. · Verify finish type (paint/clear), stain and desired sheen prior to finishing. · Verify that all required materials are on hand for production. · Finish trim and custom casework including priming, painting, staining, and application of topcoats. · Match stain and paint to color samples for projects. · Order materials through Purchasing Manager as needed per job. · Utilize paint booth equipment properly, including cup gun, air assisted gun, and airless paint gun and pump. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Critical thinking and problem solving. · Be able to physically meet the demands of a Finisher to include, lifting up to 50 pounds and have a full range of body motion. · Attention to detail and organizational skills. · In-depth knowledge of finishing materials and processes. · Forklift certification preferred. · CPR/First Aid Certification preferred. · Must be able to work in areas exposed to paint, stain, glue fumes.
