Learn and gain experience in the behind-the-scenes process that goes into implementing large-scale events. * Set up events by gathering, moving, and preparing supplies for an event. * Assist in the implementation of social events. * Staff events and remain on site for the duration of the event.
* Assist with event take-down and evaluation.
* Learn and gain experience in outreach, relationship building, and public speaking.
* Assist with educational and informational sessions.
* Welcome attendees at check-in and arrival, and engage with students and families throughout events and between sessions.
All Welcome Week Student Crewmembers will:
* Assist with other duties as assigned throughout Welcome Week.
* Participate in training prior to the Welcome Week program.
Student Crewmembers will not be available to work other on-campus or off-campus jobs during Welcome Week (August 10 - 16, 2026).

$15.00/hour
Required Qualifications
All student employees in the Dean of Students Office must maintain good academic (min. 2.0 cumulative GPA) and student conduct standing from the point of application through term of employment. The employer will check status at the beginning and the end of each semester of employment.
Must be an enrolled student during the fall 2026 semester. (5 graduate credit hours or 6 undergraduate credit hours)

Hours vary week to week and may include weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and occasional weeknights.
