Responsibilities:
The employee will assist a small group of 2 - 6 residents to help them in their agency-owned homes and in the community. Common tasks may include helping with personal hygiene, house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and going on community trips to restaurants and other locations in agency-provided vehicles.
The employee will provide companionship and emotional support to the residents.
The employee will identify and report any safety concerns in the home and will help keep the home clean and well-maintained.
The employee will actively seek and respond to input from the residents about their preferences and needs.
The employee will make brief, daily notes on each resident's progress.
