Job Description:
The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) role requires a passionate healthcare professional to provide first aid support and safety coaching to associates. You will work closely with the WHS site manager, WHS specialist, and Injury Prevention Specialist, ensuring the health and safety of all associates while managing workplace injury prevention, case management, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
· Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
· Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.
· Oversee the workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.
· Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
· Engage with associates on the operations floor, providing coaching on safe work habits and at-risk behaviors.
· Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.
· Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.
· Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
· One of the following:
· EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.
· Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
· Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.
Preferred:
· Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures.
· Skilled in digital record keeping.

The primary responsibility of the Surgical Technologist is to assist the clinical staff by performing a variety of support functions to facilitate the delivery of surgical/procedural services to the patient and provide patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, simple treatments.
Responsible for the timely preparation of the operating rooms for surgical procedures. Participate as a team member by performing additional assignments when workload or area of specialty requires, as requested by the team.
Responsible and accountable for individual practice, performs duties under the direct supervision of the registered nurse circulator and, when applicable, appropriately delegates and supervises tasks to provide optimum patient care.

What is an EMT?:
An EmergencyMedicalTechnicians-Basic (EMT-B) responds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to a medical facility, as well as interfacility transfers. After receiving the call for service, the EMT-B responds to the address or location given, using the most expeditious route, depending on traffic and weather conditions. The EMT-B must observe traffic ordinances and regulations concerning emergency vehicle operation.
Earn a rate of pay while in the EMT Academy: $16.00 per hour

EMT-B Academy is:
8-week EMT-B certification class, which qualifies the employee to take the New York State Department of Health EmergencyMedicalTechnician Exam.
There is no cost for the class; all books, fees and uniforms are paid for by Monroe Ambulance
Upon successful completion of the class, all tests and state certification, the employee will be transferred into an EMT position with an increase to the EMT compensation rate

Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will be responsible for providing emergency care for adult patients, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and administering medications and treatments as per established protocols. This role requires strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage emergencymedical situations and perform triage for all incoming patients.
Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care.
Provide ventilator management and care for patients requiring CPAP/BiPAP.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
Utilize Emergency Care practices for various adult and pediatric emergencies.
Maintain patient safety through isolation precautions and effective patient handling protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active New York Single State RN license (non-compact).
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; PALS and TNCC certifications are preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
Demonstrated experience with emergency care procedures and patient care management.

Understands the personal responsibility to safeguard public safety through compliance with infection prevention strategies.
-Prepares patient parent or family for diagnostic procedures and treatments. Makes appropriate referrals for post-emergency care. Teaches the patient what is needed to continue care/healing at home. Assesses the patient/family learning styles and structures the sessions to maximize understanding. Asks questions to evaluate retention of key points in the education and discharge instruction.
-Seeks to understand what is most important to the patient/family acknowledging that the patient and family are the central focus of all care and services. Embraces the importance of creating a Healing Environment as a key element of professional nursing practice. Keeps patient and significant others informed of process of care anticipates patient/family needs including notification of family/support system for the patient. Maintains awareness of the patient's condition /situation throughout the ER visit. . . Updates patient communication boards throughout the ED stay.
