Manage the execution of the process engineering detailed design, build, testing, installation, and operation of process equipment across assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program / project requirements.
Process areas may include but are not limited to ADUN production, organic solution preparation, solution-gelation, solvent washing, particle drying, TRISO layer application, graphite matrix production, overcoating, fuel core processing, green pebble pressing, compact pressing, shaping, heat treatment, quality control, industrial waste process, radioactive waste processing and uranium recovery.
Manage the execution of the engineering design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program / project requirements.
Manages the utilization of engineering resources across multiple projects and ensures qualified engineers are performing assigned work.
Manage design cycle sprints and provide direction to ensure the convergence of efforts of engineering team members, partners, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality engineering work products that are on schedule and within budget as defined by the Project leadership.
Manages (functional area) engineering staff by ensuring staff are meeting expectations and promoting staff professional development.
Influences the development of strategy, methodology, and technical tools for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and policy formulation.
Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, tools, or services.
Uses high level of judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operations, product management, technology, or engineering.
Assesses quality of information given and asks pertinent questions to stakeholders. Offers new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations.
Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to create the next generation nuclear reactor and/or nuclear fuel related technologies.
Perform work in accordance with design control procedures, ensuring thorough documentation of work, facilitation of internal and external design reviews, and control of product design configuration data.
Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college.
Typically, ten plus years of professional experience in engineering after completion of undergraduate study. Process engineering experience is highly preferred for this position. Graduate degrees typically count as two plus years of experience.
Experience estimating time and resources needed to execute engineering activities.
Specialized knowledge within the function of process engineering is highly desired.

Compensation Information
Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $140,000 to $180,000 per year. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment, and machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, production lines, grounds keeping, and overall facility appearance. Responsibilities:
* Lead the maintenance efforts such that the plant's short- and long-term objectives and applicable metrics are met.
* Ensure optimal production operations by determining work priorities, scheduling repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment.
* Develop and implement proactive approaches to maintenance that result in improved metrics that are "world class." Among these approaches are PM, predictive techniques, TPM and historical databases.

Also, to ensure new concepts and technology are being explored and utilized appropriately.
* In cooperation with the EHS Manager, ensure that the plant's local, state and federal environmental, operating and construction permits are in order and completed in a timely manner. This should result in no non-compliance issues or projects delayed due to timeliness of permitting.
* Lead maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures.
* Protect associates and visitors by maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* 5+ years' experience in trouble shooting electrical (through 480 volts), mechanical and pneumatic repairs. For some facilities, concrete and wet cast manufacturing will be strongly preferred.
