AWS Region Services is looking for an exceptionally effective, forward-thinking, and self-motivated individual to support two directors. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company are important. You will have ownership of busy executive calendars, requiring the ability to coordinate complex projects, meetings, and events. You must have a proven ability to plan ahead and manage time effectively, to quickly learn organizational structure and team objectives, and to adapt to Amazon's principles and environment. A good sense of humor is a must, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction at a moment's notice, work in a team environment, and build effective working relationships inside and outside the organization.
The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Key job responsibilities
Management of complex executive calendars with attention to accuracy, detail, and allocation of time to maximize executive productivity, reprioritizing as appropriate.
Executive travel planning, both domestic and international. Create detailed travel itineraries and coordinate with in-house travel agents to ensure smooth transitions between time zones; manage international travel processes including passport, visas, and any other applicable documentation.
Process expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders as needed.
Organize and manage meetings (including setting agendas and driving follow-up of action items) and events such as offsites, All Hands, Town Halls, and team-based social events.
Act as a liaison for direct reports.
Support annual operational planning process, business planning, and performance review cycles.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion

- Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner
- Organize, execute, and assist with the preparation of team activities (e.g.,staff meeting agendas, reading material for meetings, on-sites/off-sites, team social events, etc.)
- Manage event logistics and support onsite when needed
- Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation. Create detailed travel itineraries both domestic and international (including smooth transitions between time zones)
- Coordinate with in-house travel agents and manage international travel process
- Submit expense reports in a timely fashion; manage the purchase order process
- Coordinate closely with recruiting teams, facilities team, HR team, and other executiveassistants within the Amazon community
- Consolidate reading material for the executive for large events, country visits, and travel
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items to include meeting notes and action items
- Own Center of Excellence for EA program, inclusive of onboarding, best practices, EA team meetings, etc.
- Manage EA workload balancing
- Support Customer Engagement team with customer meeting preparation, follow ups, and action item tracking
