The Stabilizer position is responsible for providing a wide array of culturally sensitive, recovery oriented, trauma sensitive, direct clinical services in conjunction with other staff within the Emergency Service Unit teams along with outside community providers. CSI will assist with the day-to-day functioning of all activities related to the Crisis Stabilization Program. Primary duties include assessing and coordinating the placements of clients, assessments, safety planning, and coordination of ORW support services, and transitional case management of persons stabilizing from a crisis. The position involves mobility throughout the community, working with police, hospitals, other JMHC programs, outside agency's and may require working irregular hours in keeping with the needs of the program. Our current behavioral health department includes a 10-bed secure adult inpatient unit, intensive outpatient therapy services, traditional outpatient therapy services, alcohol and substance abuse program and a primary integration program with a Clinical Therapist co-located in our primary health clinic. As an Outpatient Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical therapy services to patients and their families as a part of the multidisciplinary team with emphasis on completing Psychosocial Assessments, conducting group and individual therapies, facilitating family therapies, and conducting IOP group and individual therapies as needed based on patient needs. This position works with providers, professionals, and agencies to ensure continuity of care through clear, appropriate, and timely communication. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Master's or doctoral degree in social work. Preferred/Optional: None EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Experience working with patients of all age ranges that have a range of mental health problems and diagnoses. Experience completing thorough intake assessments and making diagnoses. Experience providing ongoing treatment which addresses problems. Experience with individual, couple, family and group treatment. Experience identifying and understanding the psychodynamics of individuals. Experience working in a team environment. Experience completing thorough documentation in a timely manner.
