Devereux Florida provides intervention services for families in crisis who are referred by the Department of Children and Families, to provide them with resources and assistance to prevent children from entering the foster care system. Our goal is to create communities without abuse, neglect or abandonment, while helping parents or caregivers who may otherwise have no support or guidance.
The Family Advocate is a field-based position that assists the Case Manager to implement Safety Services and Support Plans. It provides direct support and assistance to parents and their children in their homes or in community-based settings.

Primary Job Functions
1. Screen and assess families referred to Healthy Families for program eligibility, while identifying the presence of physical, mental, and emotional well-being factors and enhancing the home environment by providing resources to strengthen the parent-child relationship.
Healthy Families Program Delivery (75%)
* Participate in clinical or case staffing for in-home counseling services to Healthy Families program participants, meeting established program outcome goals and upholding the CHS Standard of Care.
* Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans including communication, roadmaps, training, and resistance management plans.
* Directly transport, when necessary, or arrange for client transportation for activities such as medical appointments, counseling, parent leadership meetings, shopping, other social service agency meetings, or emergency services.
* Oversee compliance with HS/EHS, CHS, COA, licensing, contractual, quality, and outcome standards.
* Monitor quality of care by complying with contract requirements for contacting clients by phone, by letter, and/or by conducting home/residential visits.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, such as EBP developers, academic partners, provider agencies, community organizations, and cross-system partners to support EBP initiatives and implementation.

JOB SUMMARY
The Foster Care Family Support Worker plays a pivotal role in serving children and families in need through the Foster Care program of One More Child. The Family Support Worker will provide support services to appropriate personnel, programs and clients and enhance the agency's overall effectiveness in providing Christ-centered services to children and families in need. This position will focus primarily on reporting, placements, quarterly home visits, and client file documentation relating to the agency's Foster Care program, along with additional support assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
To meet and maintain the One More Child caseload standards and goals, as outlined by the Director of Foster Care Ministries and Executive Director of Foster Care in the annual goals.
To assist with the recruitment of Christian foster homes that meet or exceed the quality standards of the program.
To represent OMC at booths/speaking events as well as internal meetings as requested by the Director/Executive Directors.
To provide and/or ensure foster families are linked with opportunities to receive all necessary training and to ensure that training is complete, current, and compliant with program standards.
To assist the Licensing Specialists with the licensing and relicensing of all Foster Homes on the caseload in a timely manner.
To ensure that every child placed in an OMC foster home for 30 days or more has a documented exposure to the Gospel.
To provide general support for all OMC Foster Families and to assist with providing 24-hour on-call support/coverage to the families, which includes, but is not limited to, answering/returning calls related to placements and emergency support requests in a timely manner.
To coordinate placements and discharges for foster clients and to ensure at least 70% utilization of available placement beds.
To maintain updated case records, files, and database records in an efficient manner.
To participate in continuing education opportunities, including agency in-service training, professional seminars, workshops, and conferences and to ensure that all training required by OMC, statutes/administrative codes, and/or the local CBC/DCF are fulfilled annually.
To perform all other duties as assigned. of all structures on campus, including repairs as needed.

Assists in placement decisions.
Assist placement On-call after hours on a rotating schedule.
Attends recruitment orientations and presentations.
Facilitate recruitment presentations within faith based communities and churches.
Perform all other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet sales goals by selling wireless products and services to new and existing customers.

Stay updated with product knowledge, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features through continuous learning and self-development.

Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing your expertise.
Consult with new and existing customers in order to determine their wireless service needs.
Maintain the integrity of store operating procedures, including opening, closing, inventory, point of sale paperwork/record keeping, cash management, and maintaining store standards/appearance in merchandising, backroom, restroom, and work area.
Handles all customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
Directly responsible for ensuring sales accuracy of daily cash drawer and sales accuracy with customers.
Daily observations per Velocity.
Any other assigned duties for store or market goals as outlined by the company leadership.
Requirements:
EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
