As the Area Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of students across multiple Spectrum School locations by providing tailored clinical and educational interventions designed to meet each learner's unique needs. You'll lead with expertise, guiding and mentoring your team through hands-on training and professional development, while consistently evaluating and elevating their performance. This position works under the support and direction of the Area/Regional VP, Operations and onsite Program Directors to enhance the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes of students through use of evidence-based interventions and in collaboration with the operations and educational staff from each campus within assigned area.
‖ Responsibilities Include:
Delivering comprehensive training and continuous guidance to teachers and educational staff in designing impactful Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services provided to students, ensuring exceptional outcomes.
Supporting Spectrum staff by modeling, reinforcing, and enhancing instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.
Implementing evidence-based interventions by applying scientifically proven behavioral and educational strategies, promoting positive outcomes in academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning.
Providing crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior and developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing.
Collaborating closely with on-site education teams to collect and analyze data on student behavior, monitor student progress, and ensure appropriate intervention responsiveness and consistent progress toward goals.
Conducting regular quality checks for each campus within assigned region at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels; making recommendations for improvement based on analysis of data.
Supporting the development of on-site teams within assigned the area through delivery of training on behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis management, and other relevant topics.
Providing guidance and supervision to staff members within assigned region pursuing BACB certification (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA), as agreed with the Program Director or VP of Behavior Services.
Assisting in the development and implementation of improvement plans for assigned campuses to enhance student performance and staff effectiveness.
Engaging in multi-disciplinary on-site and regional team meetings to discuss behavioral needs and contribute to the development of comprehensive support strategies.
Monitoring and ensuring adherence of all campuses to Department of Education regulations and internal standards for educational and behavioral service is maintained within assigned area.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities.
Providing operational support to all schools in the assigned area, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staff retention, and development.
Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned to support organizational goals and student success.
‖ Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field of study.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential.
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education instruction credential preferred.
Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver's license.
Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), data-based decision making, and functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP).
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, effective teaching strategies, classroom management, personalized instruction and working with students.
Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and/or other related disabilities.
Prior experience and highly skilled in crisis management systems and intervention procedures.
Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's).
Proven success in developing and implementing effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs.
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals.
Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions.
Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.

Lagos Crisis Residential Facility provides a peer-to-peer, community-based, recovery-oriented alternative to hospitalization. Assessments, individual and group therapy, and person-centered counseling and training are provided in a supportive, home-like environment to assist clients in living successfully in community.

POSITION SUMMARY
Family Peer Support Specialist engage, inspire, and encourage participants and their families, families of choice, and natural supports to actively support the participants' recovery plan. Family Peer Support Specialist provide information, education, and resources to supporters so they can be better prepared to bring out the best in their loved one, whether it be while the person is living independently or in the family home. Family Peer Support Specialist are part of an integrated service team who promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each participant and their supporters' points of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming. Additionally, Family Peer Support Specialist respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for participants experiencing an emergency related to a behavioral health challenge.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required
• CAL MHSA Peer Support Certification
• Demonstrated lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver of a person with behavioral health care needs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment

The Maternal Infant Health Program is a strength-based home visitation program for pregnant and postpartum mothers in the Pomona area. We are a child abuse prevention program focusing on families who are at high risk for entering the child protective services system due to addiction and/or mental illness. Our goal is to identify and serve pregnant and postpartum women who have known histories of substance use, current substance use, and mothers of substance-exposed infants. We accomplish our goals by surround vulnerable mothers, infants, and families with supportive services that are sustainable and grounded in the community. We provide healing and support by addressing mental health and trauma, offer in-home services, case management, linkage to concrete supports, counseling, education, parenting, baby bonding, support groups and more.
The Clinical Home Visitor will provide strength-based mental health services with high-risk pregnant mothers or parents of an infant 0-24 months old. This is a child abuse prevention program focusing at-risk parents due to addiction or mental illness. Through our collaboration with Pomona Valley Hospital, the Clinical Home Visitor will provide client engagement, home visitation, clinical assessment, individual counseling, psycho-education groups, and prenatal/postpartum workshops.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outreach and engagement of pregnant or postpartum mothers at Pomona Valley Hospital, local OBGYN Clinics, or the community.
Provide home-based (following Covid safety restrictions) therapeutic interventions.
Complete assessment with families to include - bio-psycho-social, needs assessment, screenings for depression and addiction, family functioning, protective factors, and baby developmental milestones.
Collaboratively develop a Client Care Coordination Plan based on strengths, observations, and information gathered; Help participants define their goals.
Help the caregiver gain insight regarding personal history (including trauma history), feelings for the child, and current parenting practices.
Provide empathetic support and feedback that is trauma informed and culturally competent when working with new moms.
Work as an active team member in a multidisciplinary team.
Facilitate psycho-education workshops and parenting groups.
Avert crisis situations by assisting the family in times of urgent need (risk of harm to child or caregiver, pending child removal, etc.), in partnership with the Case Manager and Supervisor.
Co-facilitate meetings and engage community leaders in our coalition.
Responsible for maintaining all clinical documentation at a high standard, completed in a timely manner, and accurate.
Collect all pre and post surveys and outcome measures.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with agency, HIPAA and 42-CFR standards.
Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required: Master's Degree: MFT or MSW from regionally accredited graduate program in the field of psychology, counseling psychology, or social work.
Minimum 3 years field-based clinical work experience with at-risk families who have complex needs.
Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable, but not required.
Experience with evidence-based, culturally competent, gender responsive, and trauma informed services.
Willingness to travel to provide field-based services.

Up to $115,400, based on licensure type/level, session volume, and bonus opportunities.

Ettie Lee Youth & Family Services has served the complex needs of at-risk youth with emotional and behavioral problems and their families throughout Southern California for nearly 70 years.
Currently, Ettie Lee is seeking a Residential Counselor for its Short Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP).
The Position:
Direct Care Staff work with Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) youth placed in a 24/7 residential setting by Children and Family Services (CFS)/Probation. As a member of the STRTP Team, the Residential Counselor is vital in setting the tone, direction and priorities of the residents by utilizing a Trauma-Informed Approach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing the daily living environment of the home including supporting clients in school
Work closely with therapists and are under the coordination of the Administrators and the Program Manager
Helping residents manage their response to traumatic stress that results in behaviors such as running away, fighting, substance use and non-compliance
Providing daily leisure-time and recreation activities
Ensuring medical and dental needs are met
Preparing and distributing meals and clothing shopping
Documentation of client progress
Maintaining a safe and clean living environment
Direct Care Staff are crucial to the Ettie Lee team as they provide direct care to the youth served. They must come to the position with a great amount of dedication, acceptance and understanding. It is important they are resilient with a great deal of "bounce back" due to the pressures of the work.

Must have One of the Following Qualifications:
Have a Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree;
Have a valid Child Development Teaching Permit;
Have completed 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Foster and Kinship Care Education and have at least 100 hours of experience working with youth;
Have a valid certificate as an Alcohol Counselor, Drug Counselor or Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and have at least 100 hours of experience working with youth;
Have previously been employed as a staff or volunteer at a group home or short-term residential therapeutic center for at least one year.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass criminal/fingerprinting background check, TB Test, physical exam and drug test
Must have a valid California Driver's License, a minimum of 5 years of driving experience and a DMV record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier
Must be 21 years or older
Hours and Shifts: Shifts for this position are either Sundays - Wednesdays or Wednesdays - Saturdays; hours are overnight.
Your schedule will be determined in the interviewing process.

You Will Help Our Youth Thrive By:

Providing crisis intervention as needed (including evenings, nights, and weekends). Participating in the development of appropriate crisis plans.
Attending regularly scheduled staff meetings, community meetings, and other meetings as assigned. Interfacing with social services programs, court systems, schools, and other community liaisons.
Being responsible for timely and accurate completion of client notes, charts, reports, and other documentation related to the treatment and progress of clients in the program per contractual standards. Documentation may include web-based, electronic, and/or paper documents.
Participating in case of supervision on a weekly basis; discussing current caseload, documentation, and productivity; and accepting/implementing feedback and direction into direct services with clients. Maintaining regular consultation with the Family Team through weekly participation in Internal Team Meeting; and as needed.
Maintaining the dignity and personal rights as highlighted in our aforementioned regulatory agencies by deploying clear and skilled crisis communication, evasion techniques when program participants display hostile or volatile behaviors which may cause bodily harm to self.
Developing positive workplace relationships in accordance with Villages of California Policy and Procedures with staff and peers by offering appropriate support within a nurturing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Attending and participating in program and all staff meetings.
What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
One (1) years' experience working with high-risk youth preferred.
Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Villages of California policy.
Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office systems and ability to utilize an electronic healthcare record.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make decisions independently and communicate effectively when dealing with clients, families, other staff members, department heads, visitors, external agencies and community members.
Ability to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with clients.
Understanding of addiction, co-occurring models, and treatment modalities.
Understanding of patient development and family systems.
Working knowledge of the family patterns, child-rearing practices, special needs, traditions and values of the ethnic and cultural groups served by the program.
Position is Full-Time. Travel to LA County and OC may be required.
