This internship is open to students currently attending college in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
We are seeking a motivated and organized HumanResources Intern to join our dynamic HR, Talent Acquisition, and Training and Development teams in Clayton, Missouri. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in various aspects of humanresources management, providing valuable insights into HR practices within a corporate setting.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, and interview scheduling
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of training programs and materials
Support the onboarding process for new employees, preparing orientation materials and documentation
Support the coordination and scheduling of training sessions and workshops
Help maintain employee records, HR databases, and the company's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures as well as the creation of engaging presentations and training content
Assist in organizing and coordinating company events and team-building activities
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
Participate in HR projects and initiatives, gaining exposure to various HR functions
Collaborate with team members on various projects related to employee development
Collaborate with HR team members to support day-to-day operations and special projects
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HumanResources, Organizational Management, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of HRIS (HumanResources Information System) and LMS (Learning Management System) is a plus
Ability to work in-person onsite at our St. Louis, MO office during the summer and school year
