    Little River Childcare is in search of a fun-loving, energetic, and compassionate Childcare teacher to encourage the healthy, intellectual, and psychological growth and well-being of each and every child in their care! All Childcare Providers must be FLEXIBLE and DEPENDABLE!! Little River Childcare provides care for children ranging in ages 0 to 5 years of age with the exception of our school-age summer care program. You will be required upon hiring to complete Pediatric First Aid/CPR, growing futures training courses, and a guided 2 day orientation. We do provide paid training to all of our new staff that come and join our team! Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm, which means NO weekend shifts! Requirements: - Must be able to pass finger printing and a background check - Passionate about working with children of all ages - Able to work with children of different developmental stages - Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (We will pay to get you certified if needed!) - Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying preferred but NOT required - Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other staff members on a daily basis - Ability to create a safe and engaging learning environment for all children in your care at all times Responsibilities: - Ensure a healthy and positive learning environment - Maintain a clean and organized classroom on a daily basis - Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols - Assist in feeding, diapering, and potty-training as needed - Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians - Implement age-appropriate activities and educational teacher-led activities while in the classroom - Monitor children's behaviors and address any disciplinary issues using positive behavior management techniques - Communicate daily with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Supervise children during playtime, teacher led activities, mealtimes, and quiet times Benefits: - NO weekends - 3 meals provided - Flexible scheduling - Employee childcare discount - Holiday pay, PTO, Aflac benefits - We also accept CCAP and MFAP! - Full-time & Part-time positions available We look forward to receiving your application!

Performing and assisting people with basic living and employment skills as specified in plans. 2. Assisting people with personal cares as specified in service plans. (N/A for Job Coaches) 3. Assisting individuals with maintaining a clean, safe and orderly living and working environment. 4. Assisting and maintaining an individual's schedule as needed. 5. Providing transportation as assigned. 6. Reporting all incidences of Abuse, Neglect or Exploitation. 7. Working as part of a team by demonstrating Agency values: Dependability, Adaptability, Professionalism and Teamwork. 8. Utilizing a positive interaction style, treating people with respect and honoring choices. 9. Maintaining confidentiality of all people receiving services and protecting the confidentiality of their health information. 10. Administering medications, insulin and tubing feeding as assigned and certified. 11. Encouraging menu planning and meal choices that follow recommended dietary guidelines and healthy choices.
