JOB SUMMARY:
The Direct Support Professional - Transportation (DSPT) will provide transportation services using company vehicles for individuals with developmental disabilities who attend our Adult Day Services program. The shifts consist of a morning route between 6:00 - 9:00 a.m. and/or an afternoon route between the hours of 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. The DSPT will deliver services with compassion and respect. Training will be provided.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide safe transportation for our developmentally disabled members in large-capacity vehicles.
2. Meet the physical needs of the members during transportation.
3. Maintain accurate and timely records and reports. Complete Incident Reports, as required.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT:
1. Always maintain professionalism while representing Family Partners, LLC
2. Provide safe transportation to and from the program and community activities
3. Possess organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
4. Must have outstanding communication and social skills.
5. The ability to initiate tasks necessary for the program to run efficiently.
6. Daily cleaning and setting up equipment utilized for transportation.
