Islamic Relief USA Leadership

I serve as the Chief Executive Officer responsible for leading the internationally recognized NGO, Islamic Relief USA which provides relief and development in a dignified manner regardless of gender, race or religion, and works to empower individuals in their communities and give them a voice in the world.

This entails managing a portfolio of programs in excess of 120M dollars and the fund development plan which raises over a $100M dollars annually.

The portfolio of programs focuses on relief and aid to alleviate hunger, poverty and provide sustainable solutions for humanitarian crises, disasters and long term sustainable development. Additionally, lead the effort to engage and build coalitions to advocate on behalf of the most vulnerable and marginalized in the world, related to issues focused on gender justice, racial equity, climate change and access to healthcare.
