Requisition #: 75426 The Role at a Glance As a Sr. Consultant, Procurement - Strategic Supplier Relationship Management you'll be the driving force behind Lincoln Financial's supplier ecosystem. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to ensure our most critical suppliers deliver exceptional value, comply with regulatory standards, and align with enterprise goals. You'll influence procurement transformation, champion innovation, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership-making a tangible impact on cost optimization, risk management, and operational excellence. What you'll be doing Supplier Relationship Leadership (80%) * Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for strategic suppliers, managing escalations and fostering strong partnerships. * Lead governance routines-Quarterly Business Reviews, steering committees, and scorecard evaluations-to ensure accountability and transparency. * Monitor supplier performance, financial health, and risk exposure; implement improvements that enhance quality and reduce costs. * Develop and drive tracking of contracted deliverables (e.g., termination clauses, pricing, SLAs) and obligations in collaboration with business partners. * Align supplier strategies with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise priorities. * Partner with internal stakeholders and senior management to monitor, evaluate, and review supplier spend; provide thought leadership to reduce expenses and drive additional value. * Identify opportunities for innovation, cost optimization, and process enhancements that deliver measurable impact. Procurement Transformation & Process Innovation (20%) * Drive adoption of new technologies and frameworks that elevate supplier lifecycle management. * Collaborate on change management initiatives to improve onboarding, governance, and stakeholder engagement. * Champion continuous improvement by assessing roadblocks and implementing solutions that advance procurement maturity. * Provide direction and deliver solutions on complex assignments, projects, and initiatives to build and enhance SRM capabilities across the enterprise. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. Key Responsibilities: Manage MEP construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and site teams Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance Manage change orders, variations, and commercial reporting Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager within MEP, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing construction Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Office-based role with regular site involvement This is a full-time, office-based position in Houston offering long-term career progression within a growing MEP contractor.
