doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.
Qualifications
Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be comfortable with daily local travel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to live and work in a high elevation and outdoor setting (up to 9200'), in varying and extreme weather conditions.

Pay Rate: This position is paid on a daily basis at $87 per full day. An additional $10 per day completion bonus is paid at the end of the season for staff who work through August 7 and do not miss more than five days of work. With the completion bonus included total compensation ranges from approximately $4510 depending on the number of days actually worked and the camp location.

* Work an assigned post at a crossing; coordinate traffic flow and traffic signals where children cross on their way to school.

* Observe road traffic to determine best timing for road crossings; admit children and pedestrians into designated crossing locations; escort and assist children and pedestrians as needed to ensure safe crossings.
* Monitor behavior of children and educate children regarding traffic safety as appropriate.
* Turn on and off flashing lights to ensure safe crossing of children in crossing zone; place cones and signs in crossing zone.
* Attend training meetings as assigned to enhance knowledge and professionalism.
* May prepare various reports related to work time and work activities.
* Promote professional and courteous relations with children, motorists and citizens contacted during shifts.
* Explain traffic rules to motorists.
* Complete required state approved training and attend two mandatory training meetings each year facilitated by the Crossing Guard Supervisor.
* All substitute crossing guards must cross at least two times per month.
* Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED.
