About the Team: This team is part of the Print Operations Business. You will work part-time, be based at the White Oak, Maryland Print Plant reporting to the Assistant Foreman/Woman.
You Will:
+ Prepare mailroom for nightly operation of Dow Jones & Co. publications.
+ Discard all printed waste into bailers or compactors.
+ Perform mailroom operations to continuously improve upon the Production Quality Score, which integrates key performance measures such as reproduction quality, content freshness, productivity, and cost-effective materials consumption.
+ Maintain open communication with the supervisor and other employees to reach the goals and objectives of the department.
+ Assist in the training of new employees.
+ Meet established performance standards, attend recommended training and complete active assignments.
+ Understand and follow all corporate and plant policies/practices. Keep accurate, useful and timely operational and maintenance records. Work with the production manager to set equipment maintenance priorities.
You Have:
+ 0-2 years of mailroom operations experience.
+ Good vision, balance, hearing, and hand eye coordination.
+ The ability to stand for 5 hours, be able to lift 50 lbs., kneel, bend, stoop and reach out and over head, climb stairs and ladders and push rolls of newsprint.

Job Description
Position Summary:
This resource will be going through databases and lists and validating customer account information (did we do this on an account, etc?). Search and find (research), and funneling to supervisor or manager. Going through accounts in a list format.
• Validate customer account information
• Analyze customer account data to determine account status
• Promptly reports/refers sensitive and complex issues to the Inventory Control Team Leader.
• Documents all activities in a clear and concise manner using the appropriate systems and in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide Phone support
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Must be able to work 8am - 5pm but be flexible to do 7-4 or 7:30-4:30 as needed
• Must have call center background / Phone support experience
• Intermediate EXCEL experience required
• Previous Banking Experience highly preferred and will be given top preference for interviews
• Professional demeanor - will be working and interacting with up to 125 other associates and managers within the department
• Strong written and verbal communication required
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail is a must! Will be handling high volume of auto finance contracts and vehicle information
• Ability to thrive in a compliance-based environment
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible with a high volume workload
• Experience in an administrative, reporting, or high-volume production environment (such as insurance or auto finance)
• Financial, banking or contracts experience is highly preferred
