Including: ensuring all safety equipment is in good working order and available for employee use as needed.

Including: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual inspections. Verify that these tasks are completed in a timely fashion and records are kept in accordance with the company's quality policy.
· Prioritize and assign the requests for maintenance “QF810”, verify their completion and keep the records in accordance with the company's quality policy.
· Monitor our stock of critical parts, consumables and supplies.
Order replacements when stocks are getting low.
· Monitor the stock of scrap stainless steel and other valuable scrap materials.
Notify the maintenance director when the need for a scrap pick up is required.
· Keep the MSDS book up to date. Add any new materials to it in a timely fashion.
Remove any MSDS sheets from the book when the materials are no longer in our facility.
· Coordinate with the maintenance director for any special projects that arise.
To assure procurement of materials and manpower needs.
· Assure the proper use of the company's lock out/tag out, confined space and hazard communication plans and to keep records in accordance with the company's quality policy.
Additional duties/responsibilities:
· Must have knowledge of the proper use of all hand tools.
· Must be able to read and utilize blueprints and electrical diagrams for trouble shooting purposes.
· Must gain or possess an understanding of our equipment.
including: combustion systems, temperature controllers, drive systems, and HMI interface to utilize the equipment.
· Must have experience in pipe fitting, welding, grinding and fabrication.
· Must be able to communicate effectively in all aspects of their duties.
· Oversee and assist in the repairs of the company's equipment.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years in the maintenance field.
2. A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.

About the Opportunity
The MaintenanceManager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of the TechTown Detroit facility. This role ensures that all building systems function efficiently, safely, and reliably, while providing exceptional service to tenants, staff, and visitors. The MaintenanceManager coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manages vendor relationships, and leads maintenance technicians to support a well-maintained, professional environment.
The Impact You Will Make:
Building & Facilities Maintenance
· Perform and oversee minor and routine maintenance tasks, including heating, cooling, plumbing, drywall repair, electrical work, painting, and general facilities upkeep.
· Schedule, coordinate, and manage major building and grounds repairs, small projects, and maintenance work requests; track progress through completion.
· Evaluate and prioritize tenant repair ticket requests to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
· Manage and maintain all maintenance and facilities-related contracts, including the accurate and timely processing of building expenses for Finance review and approval.

· Assist the Director of CWF with managing the maintenance & repair operating budget and work to control costs while maintaining quality standards.
· Learn, operate, and assist in the ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the building's HVAC software systems
Safety & Preventative Maintenance
· Perform and document required inspections and testing of fire protection systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other life-safety equipment.
· Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment warranties.
· Implement preventive maintenance initiatives to reduce equipment downtime, extend asset life, and improve operational reliability.
· Conduct routine facility inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Supervision and Leadership
· Lead, train, and support the maintenance technician, ensuring productivity, professional conduct, and adherence to safety protocols.
· Assign and monitor daily work orders, projects, and responsibilities to ensure effective workflow and timely completion.
· Manage vendors end-to-end, including project coordination, quality assurance, and invoice/payment processing.
· Develop, maintain, and enforce maintenance plans, schedules, and operating procedures to ensure the facility functions at optimal performance.
· Handle unforeseen or emergency projects with strong problem-solving skills and minimal disruption to operations.
· Provide 24/7 on-call emergency response and coordinate urgent repairs as needed.
Requirements

· 5+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or institutional facility; supervisory experience preferred.

Salary:

A Day in the Life of a MaintenanceManager:
In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and direct aircraft maintenance at a line station, ensuring cost-effective, reliable maintenance operations while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations. You'll also maintain the facility in compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
Essential Duties of the MaintenanceManager:
Manage mechanics in overall maintenance operation, adhering to regulations and policies.
Develop effective schedules to meet operational demands.
Stay informed of work-in-progress and prioritize tasks.
Ensure proper staffing levels.
Innovate aircraft maintenance processes.
Maintain a well-equipped maintenance base.
Evaluate Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System processes.
Report and recommend improvements.

Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with a high school diploma or equivalent.
6 years of A&P experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in related field.
RII and Run and Taxi qualifications on applicable aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of supervisors, specialists, and skilled trades in the General Assembly area
