Growing food manufacturing client is seeking an initiative-taking MaintenanceManager who can plan, direct and lead the efforts of the Maintenance Department to maintain and support plant equipment and facilities in world class working order. We need a leader who can technically evaluate the situations, find the optimum solution, prioritize the projects & tasks, and communicate the information to all parties using excellent soft skills.
As the MaintenanceManager, you'll be responsible for the preventive maintenance program, and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. You'll be accountable for directing the preventive maintenance program that designed to minimize unscheduled down time. Other areas of accountability include:
· Develop a department that is qualified to maintain all equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient working condition
· Manage the spare parts and maintenance supplies
· Manage the scheduling of maintenance personnel & labor costs
· Work with other departments to schedule repairs of equipment
· Work with Engineering regarding equipment modifications & facilities improvements that will improve plant performance, product quality & reduce costs
· Coordinate the efficient operation of all facilities necessary to manage the distribution and usage of all utilities & reduce costs
· Manage all yearly evaluations, attendance, vacations, and all disciplinary reviews of maintenance personnel
· Ensure staff follows & supports all GMPs, regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Minimum Requirements for this MaintenanceManager's position:
· At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing & facilities maintenance leadership position
· Proficiency with PLCs
· Capital project and capital project budget management experience
· SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

Minimum Job Requirements:

One (1) additional year of related experience may substitute for education. Must pass a thorough criminal history screening and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Job Summary:
As a MaintenanceManager, you will lead and inspire a large team to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing assets and facilities. Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide meaningful training and supervision of residents in the construction trades and maintenance thereof.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
* Supervises and trains resident workers in duties of the construction trades by using manuals, blueprints and other tools of the construction and mechanical trades to teach them such skills as welding, sheet metal fabrication and other construction tasks to ensure that renovation, repair and construction is accomplished in more than 110 buildings situated on 2,500 acres of land compromising the Lansing Correctional Facility.
* Assigns specific construction, renovation or repair tasks to residents, reviewing work to assure accurate and timely completion of projects.
* Inventories all tools and equipment by visually inspecting and counting each tool or piece of equipment to ensure that tools and equipment are accounted for upon completion of each shift or job; that they are kept clean and in good repair, and to prevent residents from taking unauthorized tools, equipment and uniforms to the living units.
* Keep administrative officials informed of any situation that develops during tour of duty by submitting reports on the work progress of the residents or accidents, dire hazards, or infractions of rules to assure the smooth and orderly operation of the facility.
* Provides for safety of assigned residents by enforcing policies and regulations to ensure that they adhere to safety policies promulgated by the facility for their safety, health and protection.
* Inspects all construction, renovation or repair projects by visually checking supplies and determining daily needs to ensure quality of work performed and to ensure that materials are installed in accordance with established standards and local, state and federal laws.
* Conducts inventory of construction materials by visually checking supplies and determining daily needs to ensure that ample supplies are kept on hand for normal maintenance of buildings of other related tasks. Places requisition for materials, using appropriate forms, when supplies drop below that anticipated for conducting normal building maintenance and repair.
Qualifications
Licensing & Certification: Must possess a valid driver's license.
Special Qualifications: Ability to layout, assign, and review the work of unskilled workers; read blueprints and make accurate of time and materials.
Minimum Qualifications: Five years of experience in the mechanical or building trades. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Job Summary:
The Senior Facilities Operations Manager leads and develops a 50+ member Facilities Operations and Facilities Services Team, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and service quality across all facilities systems.
