Kelly Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Cudahy, WI. This is a hands-on leadership position at a high-volume packaged meats facility producing bacon, ham, sausage (including dry sausage), and deli/specialty meats. You'll lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors and set the maintenance strategy that keeps production moving-reducing downtime, improving reliability, and building strong systems that scale.
This is a plant-floor leadership role in a union production environment that may include wet/humid conditions, temperature extremes, moving equipment, airborne particles/fumes, and chemical exposure. Noise can be moderate to loud in production areas. Physical requirements include frequent standing/walking and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
This position is first shift and would work 6:30a-4p Mon-Fri with a weekend rotation (must be comfortable working weekends).
Salary ranges from $110K-120K and is eligible for a yearly bonus.

What you'll do
Lead the maintenance organization: coach and develop Maintenance Supervisors, set priorities, and ensure strong execution across shifts.
Own reliability and uptime: drive preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements to reduce unscheduled downtime.
Build world-class systems: implement and continuously improve TPM, RCM concepts, work order discipline, and planning/scheduling routines.
Partner with Engineering and Production: align maintenance planning to production needs; support equipment upgrades and long-term reliability projects.
Be the escalation point: support troubleshooting of complex mechanical/electrical issues (PLCs, instrumentation, controls) and help prevent repeat failures.
Run performance through metrics: track KPIs like equipment reliability, OEE, PM compliance, contractor/vendor performance, and parts/service spend; communicate results and action plans.
Champion safety and compliance: reinforce safe work practices and ensure maintenance work meets all regulatory and site requirements.
Ensure continuity: cover leadership gaps when needed and keep critical work moving during off-hours or high-impact events.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven leadership experience (leading people directly, or leading through supervisors/leads; training/coaching/mentoring).
Strong working knowledge of maintenancemanagement systems, work order processes, PM/PdM, and TPM.
Advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting capability (e.g., PLCs, instrumentation, controls, mechanical systems) and comfort planning resources in a large manufacturing environment.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP (PM module) strongly preferred.
Flexibility to support extended hours/weekends when required by the operation.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring all production equipment, electrical components, and the physical building operate with maximum efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Maintenance Engineering or a related major, combined with a minimum of 5 years of maintenancemanagement/engineering experience, preferably within food manufacturing.
Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with:
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systems.
Computerized MaintenanceManagement Systems (CMMS).
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
