ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth operational execution across both e-commerce and retail channels. This role supports the Director of Operations in maintaining inventory accuracy, improving fulfillment processes, and driving data-backed decision-making to optimize performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, operational discipline, and cross-functional communication skills.
This is an entry level, hybrid role that operates out of the Corporate HQ office.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ecommerce Operations
Develop, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, returns, freight costs and productivity.
Support Director of Operations with reporting, DTC fulfillment, order flow, and inventory accuracy, in addition to helping them with new channel initiatives - data flow, systems and reporting
Assist with new channel initiatives by managing data flow, systems integration, and reporting.
Support sales and production teams with system/logistics requirements for events and special projects
Serve as key owner of inbound inventory tracking and ensure timely receipt of shipments at the warehouse.
Support HQ teams in fulfillment and inventory needs for personals, gifting, and photoshoots.
Partner cross-functionally to enhance proprietary systems, tools, and workflows.
Contribute to strategic planning and execution of initiatives that improve operational efficiency and support company growth.
Partner with warehouse teams to manage DTC and attend weekly external meetings.
Logistics Management
Tracking / Follow up with freight forwarders for ongoing shipments.
In partnership with production, tracking of shipment costs per pair and ensuring consolidation to support reduction in the number of shipments per annum.
Making sure all HTS codes are accurate according to the internal tools + projections.
Continual review of transit options so we are optimizing for cost + speed to market.
Retail Operations
Drive accuracy and data-driven decision-making across retail operations, with a deep understanding of inventory, operations, and sales performance.
Ensure strong daily operational execution, leading store operations to be productive, efficient, and customer-focused.
Serve as the communication bridge between HQ and retail teams, providing clear and consistent updates to align on customer needs, operational goals, and best practices.
Create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store-related order and inventory processes.
Manage retail inventory, including receiving inbound and outbound shipments, fulfilling orders, and executing transfer orders.
Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and uphold consistent inventory accuracy through weekly and monthly counts.
Collaborate with the Operations team to continuously improve store processes and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in e-commerce operations, retail operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail as it relates to large datasets

The Role
As a MedicalAssistant at Sonoma State University's Student Health Center (SHC), you'll be a vital member of a close-knit, skilled, and collaborative medical team that values excellence, dependability, empathy, inclusion, teamwork, and overall well-being. Reporting to the Associate Director of the SHC and the Lead Physician, and working under the supervision of licensed clinicians, you will provide both clinical and administrative support that enhances the health and success of our students. Most of your time will be spent delivering direct patient care while also contributing to front-office functions such as patient reception and scheduling. Beyond clinical care, you'll have opportunities to engage in quality improvement initiatives and outreach efforts. Qualifications

Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time, non-exempt probationary position scheduled to work 11 months each year. The compensation for the 11 months of work will be paid out over 12 months with the month of July observed off. Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and will not exceed $51,036 (Step 7) annually.
In accordance with the California State University 11/12 pay plan, the salary earned for months worked will ultimately be pro-rated to an 11/12 salary schedule and paid over 12 months in equal increments, with benefits covered for the entire 12 months. Under the 11/12 schedule, the salary placement will not exceed $3,531 - $3,899 per month, paid over 12 months with continuous benefits eligibility. Should the starting date not coincide with a standard 11/12 pay plan cycle, the employee will start at an equivalent full time 12-month salary rate with the month of July off unpaid and be converted to the 11/12 rate in August 2026 with benefits covered for the entire 12 months moving forward.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. MedicalAssistant Duties include:
* Assists Providers as requested.
* Escorts patient to the exam room.
* Obtains complete and accurate vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, weight, and height, appropriate for the patient's chief complaint, prior to the clinician seeing the patient.
* Documents accurate information in the patient's electronic medical record, including all actions taken by the MedicalAssistant.
* May perform spirometry tests, six-minute walk tests, and give injections/medications as directed by the Provider
* Obtains prior authorizations for medications.
* Assists in patient education by providing informational pamphlets and after-care instructions as instructed by the Provider.
* Ensures that exam rooms are clean, stocked, and appropriately set up each day prior to rooming patients.
* Triages incoming documents, as assigned, and thoroughly processes documents at first touch following proper protocol.
* Ensures all pertinent information is in the chart prior to the patient's appointment (i.e. labs, xrays, etc.)
* Ensures all documents are appropriately labeled and classified within the electronic medical record.
* Communicates with patients using secure patient portal and assists patients with any portal log-in issues.
* Maintains related medical equipment and supplies.
* May be required to travel to other clinics when needed.
Other MedicalAssistant responsibilities include:
* Answers patient sick calls and schedules appointments.
* Assists in answering incoming phone calls to the general clinic extensions.
* Follows Clinic protocols for managing patient and pharmacy callbacks in a timely manner.
* Relays Provider instructions/orders to pharmacies, patients, and other entities via phone, fax, or mail.
* Labels and uploads test results in the patient's electronic medical record.
* Effectively works with peers to ensure all Provider schedules run efficiently and that patients are seen in a timely manner.
* Ensures all medication cabinets are locked at the end of each workday.
Requirements
* High school graduation or GED.
* Two or more years of related work experience preferred.
* Credentialed MedicalAssistant (RMA, CCMA, CMA) a plus.
* Current certification in CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
* Strong computer skills. Experience with an EMR preferred.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Strong customer service skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, patients, and the general public.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities

RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospital Corpsmen (HM) assist health care professionals in providing medical care to Navy personnel and their families. They may function as clinical or specialty technicians, medical administrative personnel and healthcare providers at medical treatment facilities. Specifically, Hospital Corpsmen may be called upon to:
Perform emergency medical treatment on SEALs, Seabees, Marines and other military personnel injured in the field, as well as on Sailors aboard ships or aircraft
Perform emergency dental treatment as well as construct dental crowns and bridges, process
dental X-rays and operate X-ray equipment
Serve as an operating room technician for general and specialized surgery
