CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. The Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC ) Project Controls Management Group oversees the planning, compliance, and progress of the General Contractor schedules. Inclusive in this is oversight of governance and compliance to improve Data Center Construction predictability across our global build portfolio. We utilize tools such as Master Schedules, Risk Framework, Quality Checklists and Schedule Health Scorecards, and are hands-on with the PMs in the field, and with the General Contractor with our tools and analysis. This results in Schedule Predictability driving overall delivery efficiencies. As a Microsoft Project Planner & Scheduler you will report to the Planning Lead. You will support project level schedule analytics and audits. You will be responsible for management and analysis of construction schedules and milestones at the project and program level. This includes working closely with our General Contractors and Data Center PM's, collecting and analyzing schedule data and reporting to management on issues, risks and opportunities found in the construction schedules. Likewise, you will be involved in developing & driving processes, maintaining reporting and driving project deliverables according to a set cadence and rhythm of business. Our goal is to improve predictability by validating project progress, data analysis and clean up, and supporting the overarching schedule processes, development and standardization. Planning and Delivery: Support the Planning Lead with the formulation, implementation and ongoing development of scheduling processes and procedures. Provide planning and schedule management support to Data Center Program Managers, stakeholders and project teams and with Redmond-based hub. Support Data Center PM's and stakeholder teams in developing realistic schedule baselines. Support Planning and Scheduling Lead and PM teams in improving schedule accuracy and Gas Chromatography (GC) compliance and performance on our projects. Monitoring and Reporting: Production of monthly schedule reports that monitor, control and measure schedule performance against project baselines and contractual milestones as per set cadence and Report On Business (ROB). Perform schedule impact analysis and variance reporting of project Schedules. Production of milestone tracking and look-ahead reports to support PM teams effectively achieve project milestones. Carry out trend analysis of schedule performance including collation and sharing of lessons learned. Support improvements to scheduling processes and procedures, General Contractor (GC) performance and reporting. Other: Embody our Culture and Values Required: Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Experience with Data Center construction programs Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
