The general job description below is an accurate overview of the position, however, the successful candidate in the current round of recruiting will have extensive knowledge and experience in data centers. This includes demonstrated senior-level capability in NX-OS, ACI, OSPF, BGP, Palo Alto Firewalls, and S2S. Knowledge and experience with MDS and UCS are an advantage. The role is responsible for planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all local and wide area network connections, network devices, associated software, and communication links. This person will also troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide redundancy, quality of service, and capacity planning solutions. The LBWL data centers will be a primary focus. IT Network Administrator III Essential Functions: Able to complete most level 3 tickets related to network administration, including basic route/switch and ACI configuration without assistance. Able to independently complete all level 2 support tickets related to network administration without assistance. Able to handle all level 3 tickets under the guidance of more senior network administrators or vendor technical support. Able to participate in the on-call rotation with as needed assistance from system administrators or more senior network administrators.
