The role of the ED for Personalized and Precision Medicine is at the forefront of utilizing EHR, clinical and diagnostic data to uncover patterns and indicators to improve patient identification, enhance treatment efficacy and advance patient outcomes. By effectively communicating complex analytical findings, the individual will drive the company's mission to deliver innovative, personalized treatment solutions that improve patient health.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the team responsible for analyzing healthcare data, including clinical trial datasets, transactional claims, and electronic health records. Guide the application of established and novel statistical and analytical techniques to support strategic objectives in patient identification, diagnostics utilization, and RWE analytics.
Develop and lead strategic partnerships with providers to identify eligible patients in their existing patient pools. Lead the team in leveraging analysis of provider EHR to inform strategic initiatives and improve patient outcomes.
Oversee the use of data generated by digital health technologies (DHTs) to capture patient-generated data, electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs), and electronic clinical outcome assessments (eCOAs). Guide the team in supporting key strategic goals.
Lead the tracking and analysis of metrics on companion diagnostic availability, offering, and usage. Provide the roadmap to enhance diagnostic strategies and improve patient care.
Lead initiatives that analyze real-world evidence and clinical & diagnostic data to identify patterns and indicators associated with patient response to treatment regimens. Focus on strategic insights, especially regarding genetic and biomarker indicators.
Aligning with NVS stakeholders on research, evidence development, and clinical strategies to drive strategic decision-making, generation of data-driven insights, and the implementation of personalized and precision medicine in healthcare systems.
Guide the team in conducting the analysis, drafting and reviewing of the relevant sections of technical and study reports, manuscripts for publishing in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, and abstracts and presentations for international conferences. Ensure alignment with strategic goals and organizational priorities.
Communicate complex concepts and interpretations of analysis and findings to diverse audiences, including internal leadership and stakeholders, health economists, clinicians, and health systems. Influence decision-making and strategic planning through effective communication.
Communicate high impact relevant insights on underdiagnosed or undertreated patients to the Patient Finding team. Ensure insights are strategically aligned and actionable.
Essential Requirements:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $214,900.00 and $399,100.00 a year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. What You'll Be Doing
The Neurology Physician Assistant is responsible for providing inpatient care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. Works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. May have specialized in a specific type of clinical care, e.g., ob/gyn & oncology and have an interest in Neurology. PA will cover neurology service as well as nuerointervention and surgery.
Assesses patient status by obtaining health history through patient/family interviews and chart reviews; assessing presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors; and performing appropriate physical examination.
Orders/performs appropriate laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests. Seeks other information as needed, including consultation with physicians and other clinicians, for evaluation of illness. Integrates data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan, including identification of any health risks.
Develops and implements treatment plan by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws. Handles minor lacerations. Instructs patient/family regarding medications and treatments. Educates patients regarding health promotion/illness prevention. Recommends appropriate community resources to meet patient/family needs. Communicates appropriate case management information to other professionals and community agencies. Prepares documentation for medical records including updating patient medical chart by posting examination and test results, diagnosis, medications, and treatment in written/computerized manner.
Participates in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development, and other continuing education and quality assurance activities to demonstrate compliance with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures. Acts as consultant/collaborator to clinical team on area of specialty. Complies with patient confidentiality requirements. Promotes patient advocacy.
Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between visits according to treatment plan including triaging patient calls/e-mails.
Day shift. 7a-7pm/12-13 shifts per month. Weekends and holidays are a requirement with this role.

Assesses patient status by obtaining health history through patient/family interviews and chart reviews; assessing presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors; and performing appropriate physical examination.
Orders/performs appropriate laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests. Seeks other information as needed, including consultation with physicians and other clinicians, for evaluation of illness. Integrates data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan, including identification of any health risks.
Develops and implements treatment plan by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws. Handles minor lacerations. Instructs patient/family regarding medications and treatments. Educates patients regarding health promotion/illness prevention. Recommends appropriate community resources to meet patient/family needs. Communicates appropriate case management information to other professionals and community agencies. Prepares documentation for medical records including updating patient medical chart by posting examination and test results, diagnosis, medications, and treatment in written/computerized manner.
Participates in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development, and other continuing education and quality assurance activities to demonstrate compliance with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures. Acts as consultant/collaborator to clinical team on area of specialty. Complies with patient confidentiality requirements. Promotes patient advocacy.
Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between visits according to treatment plan including triaging patient calls/e-mails.
Day shift. 7a-7pm/12-13 shifts per month. Weekends and holidays are a requirement with this role.
