Build and manage cost- and resource-loaded schedules, update actuals to support earned value, and generate standard reports including critical activities, baseline deviations, earned value indices, and cash flow. Prepare monthly reporting packages, including narratives and KPI summaries for management and client review. Develop detailed CPM schedules from the ground up for proposals and active projects. Perform network logic analysis to validate sequencing, float accuracy, and critical path alignment. Conduct “what-if” and time-impact analyses to evaluate risks, delays, and recovery options. Facilitate schedule coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and accountability. Support planning sessions such as pull planning to align construction sequencing and commissioning requirements. Provide clear, data-driven schedule insights that support executive decision-making and project delivery. Requirements Available to work on site multiple days per week. Proven experience scheduling large public construction projects. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with cost- and resource-loaded schedules and earned value systems. Strong understanding of construction sequencing.     DEPARTMENT: Community Services: Money Matters Tax Program Scheduler POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt: Temporary, (Mid November - Mid April) position, 20-30 hours/week (hours vary in Nov, Dec & April) SUPERVISOR: Money Matters Coordinator POSITION SUMMARY: Community Action's Tax Scheduler will be responsible for answering the phone for Community Action Pioneer Valley's Free Tax Assistance Program (VITA), conducting phone eligibility screening and scheduling virtual and in-person tax preparation appointments. Call volume is high and the Scheduler will screen approximately 900 households during the tax season. Responsibilities also include recording call data into Excel and agency databases, utilizing Outlook Calendar and AppToto appointment software, preparing mailings, helping to follow-up with taxpayers, data entry and other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator. Training in VITA advanced tax preparation will be provided with a requirement to become certified within the first 30 days. Evening and weekend hours may be required during tax season. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Answer and respond to a high volume of phone and electronic messages efficiently and promptly. Manage all aspects of scheduling for the tax program including initial contact, screening for eligibility, appointment reminders, cancellations and ensuring the maximum number of participants are scheduled and prepared for their appointment. Assist with maintaining VITA-specific customer relationship software used for virtual tax clinics. Assist Tax Team in various activities to prepare for the tax season including mailings, preparing materials for volunteers and other duties. Maintain taxpayer files and enter data into Excel and agency database for reporting purposes. Ensure required data entry and reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with program guidelines. Maintain high level of customer service following Community Action's established Customer Service Standards and all applicable guidelines set forth by the program. Remote work from home will be assigned and determined by the Money Matters Coordinator; when schedule requires remote work, expected to be available for meetings, calls, responding to emails, and conducting regular duties during standard service/agency hours. Required to work in the evening and weekends occasionally Comply with agency and funders' paperwork requirements and procedures. Attend all required staff meetings, supervision, training and contractual meetings. Attend mandatory agency trainings and other relevant trainings. Participate in professional development activities and team meetings. Maintain strictest confidentiality. Perform related work as required. AA/EOE/ADA Requirements ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalency 3 years' experience in office-related and customer service functions. Ability to complete online training and IRS certification in advanced tax preparation. Familiarity with taxes preferred. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) preferred SKILLS REQUIRED Proficient computer skills, including using a mouse, email, Microsoft office products (Word, Excel) Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and on-line calendar software (Outlook) Strong people skills including outreach, customer service, and maintaining positive relationships both in person and over the phone. Ability to explain and interpret basic tax law to volunteers and taxpayers. (Training and resources provided). Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through a multi-step process with consistency and accuracy. Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as an effective team member. Dependability and flexibility. Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information. Understanding of data capture and tracking methods. Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity and the needs of individuals with low incomes.     The Project Controls Specialist is primarily responsible for the proper setup, population, and maintenance of project control systems necessary to monitor, control, and report on project performance, data gathering and analysis of project KPI's. The Project Controls Specialist works closely with the Construction, Engineering, and Design teams to report on the operational health of a project(s) and make sure they are following our Project Controls processes and procedures. This job follows a hybrid schedule with a 5-day work week. Working 9-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. Remote work days are Wednesday through Friday. Responsibilities: * Assist in conformation of estimate to project schedule and cost management systems at various project stages and levels of detail. * Perform weekly and monthly cost forecast exercises * Perform continuous cost performance monitoring and reporting on active projects * Perform forward-looking analysis on the project including accurate Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) utilizing multiple forecasting methods for Estimate-to-Complete (ETC) * Perform trend identification for management attention * Track, review and incorporate internal and external changes. * Effectively communicate and report status of projects in relation to the project performance baseline, reasons for deviation, and assist with implementing corrective action plans * Interface with company business systems (InEight Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, Command Center etc.) * Ensure compliance with established cost performance baselines; Include well defined scope, assumptions, deliverables, Cost Breakdown Structure, and Claiming Schemes * Support PMs in managing procurement actions (accruals). * Have a strong understanding of project scope, especially as it pertains to tracking quantities and reporting on progress for both internal and third-party construction activities * Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project's contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work * Support document management; oversee the process by which incoming and outgoing documentation is produced, organized, distributed, filed, and administered to internal and external customers * Support the change management process, communicating regularly with internal and external partners to identify and track issues, potential change orders, and executed change orders. * Review new issue drawing and contract documents for change of conditions; quantify impact of changes, and communicate to affected parties (i.e. field personnel, client, etc.) Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics, Construction Science or related degree. *Experience will be evaluated in lieu of bachelor's degree * Cost/Schedule control (Basic) * EVMs techniques and applications (Basic) * Data Analysis (Basic) * Cost Control Methods (Basic) * Forecasting (Basic) * Quantity surveying * Engineering Drawing Comprehension * Dashboarding systems (Basic) * Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate) * Primavera P6 (Basic) * 1-3 years' experience working in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Modularization, and/or Fabrication industry * Recent graduates encouraged and eligible to apply Physical Requirements: * Ability to reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and to perform repetitive motions. * Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
