In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across Oncology services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
* Complete daily inpatient rounds and maintain collaboration on care with the rounding oncologist
* Participate in tele-visits as needed and as appropriate.
* Collaborate on outpatient care transitions as needed; support the outpatient team if/as needed.
* Provide education on diverse treatment options
* Identify and provide treatment for health-related conditions associated with cancer
* Offer emotional assistance to patients of cancer, as well as their families,
* Support research on cancer to improve treatment formalities apportioned to cancer patients
* Provide helpful resources on the patient and families to enhance positive results
* Incorporate patients and their families in the treatment plan, procedures and possible outcomes.
* Observe and record the patient's progress regularly
* Document care provided on patients including reactions to medication and treatment
* Rotating/shared weekend and call based on practice requirements
Requirements:
* Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
* Master's degree for Physician Assistant applicants.
* Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
* Certificate of Authority to practice.
* Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS,
* etc.).
* Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

The Patient Registration Specialist complies with HIPPA guidelines and privacy practices, patient confidentiality, and patient rights. You will be an active team member and prioritize responsibilities to complete daily work and assist in training new staff as needed. You will review all work to ensure it complies with system quality assurance policies.

Department: Laboratory Weekly Hours: 38 Status: Full time Shift: Variable (United States of America) As a ProMedica Phlebotomist, you will collect products and/or specimens for procedures and perform testing while caring for the patient before, during and after collection. You will perform pre-analytic tasks for sample preparation including centrifugation, decanting, specimen distribution and specimen packaging.
In this role, you will use quality assurance data to enhance services and recommend changes in procedures to address quality issues and provide customer satisfaction.
You are required to be familiar with test names and abbreviations and cross-referencing tests to specimen types. You will also be required to follow strict principles of asepsis and antisepsis and use your leadership skills to help train new associates or students.

REQUIREMENTS
* High School diploma or equivalent License/Certification/Experience:
* A diploma from an accredited phlebotomy training institute OR 6 months phlebotomy experience.
* 6 months' experience in a high-volume phlebotomy environment (approximately 30 draws a day), or
* Successful completion of an academic program which included substantial, practical clinical phlebotomy experience (EX: 3+ week clinical student rotation program in a hospital setting or clinical student rotation with 100 successful venipunctures completed).
