Purpose
The QA Technologist provides operational support and drives quality initiatives within the Euclid Consumable Division. This role ensures that process audits, inspection, and testing procedures are well-defined and contribute to continuous improvement in quality. The QA Technologist will manage warranty systems, review customer warranties, enhance the non-conformance process, and implement corrective action requests.
Long Description
Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues across Consumable products.
Develop, document, and maintain procedures for daily quality operations.
Establish and support training programs for QA technicians.
Support and continuously improve the Non-Conformance system.
Manage customer-facing issues through the Warranty System.
Issue and maintain stop-ship actions, and drive improvements to the stop-ship process.
Leverage data from quality systems to enhance visibility, streamline actions, identify trends, and improve overall quality performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Methods, Plant Engineering, R&D, and Specials to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Support certification reviews and approvals.
Assist in developing and maintaining quality process control methodologies.
Utilize computers, databases, and software tools associated with the Quality Program.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years (Level I Technician) of related experience (5+ years preferred Level III Technician)
Preferred knowledge of welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Technician Lead to join our team. This role will report to the Quality Supervisor and is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections using a wide variety of inspection gauges and techniques. The Quality Technician Lead will provide a first layer of oversight, assist with training, and resolve technical issues. A strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection techniques is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections using a variety of inspection gauges and techniques to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Provide first-level oversight to the quality inspection team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.
Assist in training new and existing team members on inspection techniques, quality standards, and the use of inspection equipment.
Resolve technical issues related to inspection processes and equipment, providing guidance and support to the team.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to perform accurate inspections.
Document and report inspection results, non-conformances, and other quality-related data.
Collaborate with the Quality Supervisor and other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and overall product quality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality-related certifications are a plus.
Previous experience in a quality inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection techniques.
Proficiency in using a variety of inspection gauges and equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Detailer / Quality Support Technician plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional final product to our customers. This position is responsible for performing thorough vehicle detailing and quality inspections prior to customer delivery, ensuring all repairs meet CollisionRight s high standards.
This role also supports shop operations by assisting with facility maintenance, organization, and cleanliness, helping create a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform detailed cleaning and final detailing of vehicles prior to customer delivery
Conduct visual inspections of repaired areas and promptly report any concerns or defects to the General Manager or assigned technician
Support general shop and grounds maintenance to ensure a clean, organized facility
Inspect goods and completed work according to quality and safety standards

What you will do
Under general supervision, analyze defective batteries to identify root causes of failures. Process auditing to identify unfavorable trends in process and product quality for the plant. Involve process engineering and production supervision as necessary to identify and correct the cause and eliminate/minimize future occurrences. Ensure day-to-day operations are carried out, correcting any irregularities. Monitor and report success of corrective actions and the statistical control process. Perform a variety of duties in manufacturing engineering sections to assist engineers where some work involves knowledge of technical aspects as distinguished from mainly clerical functions.
Maintain scrap databases.
Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.

Quality assurance technician job in Hamilton, OH
This person will be responsible for testing incoming raw materials, intermediate products, and finished product samples.
Primary Accountabilities:
Perform daily testing of all raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Ensure that the products are tested in accordance with established SOPs.
Responsible for assuring product conformance to specifications
Product testing includes: sensory, refractive index, brix, pH, turbidity, HPLC/GC, particle size testing, colorimetry, viscosity, density, water activity, manual titration, and other testing as assigned
Able to analyze data and produce detailed reports noting relevant specification information
Able to take microbial samples and maintain a sterile/clean environment throughout the process.
Responsible for sampling incoming raw materials for analysis, including lifting 50lbs repeatedly.
Perform daily testing of all raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Ensure that the products are tested in accordance with established SOPs and within specification
Responsible for creating COAs, preparing micro samples, calibrating laboratory equipment, and maintaining production and quality records to ensure compliance
File raw material / finished product retains and records
Exhibit professional appearance and demeanor while maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Food Science / Technology and/or Business Related
2+ years of quality control laboratory experience applying skills in a comprehensive and hands-on manner.
Previous flavor industry experience.
Requirements:
Highschool Diploma or General Education Degree with 2-5 years of Inspection and/or Manufacturing Experience
Experience with HACCP, FSP, ISO 22000, SQF, BRC, or equivalent Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) criteria.
Experience with QC related instruments such as pH meters, refractometer, densitometer, colorimeter, GC, water activity meter, and turbidimeter.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret information
Excellent organization skills
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
Demonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills. Able to handle multiple priorities.
Discern sensory differences between tested flavors and flavor chemicals.
Salary range: $19.65 - $24.57
