A risk control director will be responsible for promoting risk reduction and creating a risk awareness environment within the company. As a risk control director, you will be performing a variety of tasks that include evaluating possible risks and exposures, developing effective strategies and procedures to reduce those risks, and evaluating which insurance policies meet the needs of the company.
