Physical Demands:
Ability to stand during the entire shift.
Must be able to lift and/or move, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications needed to perform this position:
Previous sales experience in retail, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry, is preferred but not required.
Passion for furniture and interior design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering a positive and memorable shopping experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Computer proficient in placing orders and credit applications.
Exceptional listening and problem-resolution skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
