The ISU is responsible for facilitating the contract vendor's Facility Security Clearance and Personnel Security Clearances through submission of the DoD Contract Security Classification Specification, DD Form 254. The ISU reports to the DHS Federal Protective Services (FPS), Personnel Security Division (PSD). Key Responsibilities: Prepare, formulate, and develop DHS-wide policies, standards, and procedures for the implementation and management of the DHS Industrial Security Program. Advise top-level DHS officials and subject matter managers on developments and advances in personnel, contract, and industrial security programs. ROLE DESCRIPTION This role supports the security, facility, and technical compliance activities for Intelsat US LLC and its subsidiary organization, Intelsat General Communications LLC. The role is critical to ensuring the management of activities related to the company's personnel, facilities, operations, and communications security activities, especially regarding classified programs for the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”), Intelligence Community (“IC”), Special Access Programs (“SAP”), and other sensitive customer programs. This role is responsible for implementing and administering all company security policies, procedures, and functions to assure compliance with applicable laws, government regulations, customer requirements and company policies. The FSO/ITPSO also supports internal customers, as needed, in developing innovative solutions to address the company's business needs.
