Provide support with the execution of the G-3/5/7 Information Security Program, which includes the classification/declassification program and security education and training programs.
Develop, present, and facilitate security training for all security disciplines, including Information Security, OPSEC, Personnel Security, and Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP).

Support the G-3/5/7 Automatic Declassification and Mandatory Declassification Program and establish professional contacts within the declassification community.
Collaborate with G-3/5/7 Directorates, Chief of Security, and/or government Program Managers to develop and publish G-3/5/7 security procedures and documents.
Conduct security reviews of documents intended for public release in coordination with the G-3/5/7.

* Guide the administration and safeguarding of classified information entrusted to the organization, ensuring compliance with all appropriate protocols, investigating security incidents, and resolving any security issues

YOUR PROFILE :
* Must have a Bachelors' Degree, with at least three (3) years of applicable experience in security clearances, government security protocols and related subjects; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
* Must have a well-developed knowledge and understanding of United States government rules and regulations related to security and classified information, especially the directives and guidelines of the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community
* Must have a strong understanding of the requirements necessary to safeguard classified information

The International Security Specialist (ISS) will perform daily acquisition and operational security duties supporting the customer's international program. Collaborate with General Contractor to maintain current electronic access lists
Conduct manual ID verification against government-issued identification
Operate technical security systems as required
Ensure only authorized personnel enter construction areas
Staff alternative access points when required for deliveries or equipment movement
24/7 Patrol Operations
Conduct regular perimeter patrols during non-construction hours
Closely monitor and maintain access control on interior construction areas
Perform randomized site inspections to detect unauthorized activity
Document and report any security incidents or safety concerns
Respond to alarms and emergency situations according to established protocols
Administrative Duties
Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation
Coordinate with General Contractor on access list updates
Follow established "post orders" and security procedures
Communicate effectively with construction personnel and management
Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous security experience preferred, construction site experience a plus
Valid security guard license as required by state/local regulations
Clean background check and drug screening

Position Overview:
This position supports the Industrial Security Unit (ISU) and serves as the liaison between the Contracting Office and the Department on security clearance requirements for classified contracts. The ISU is responsible for facilitating the contract vendor's Facility Security
Clearance
and
Personnel Security
Clearances through submission of the DoD Contract Security Classification Specification, DD Form 254. The ISU reports to the DHS Federal Protective Services (FPS),
Personnel Security
Division (PSD).
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, formulate, and develop DHS-wide policies, standards, and procedures for the implementation and management of the DHS Industrial Security Program.
Advise top-level DHS officials and subject matter managers on developments and advances in personnel, contract, and industrial security programs.
Conduct security surveys, inspections, and compliance reviews in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Presidential Directives, Executive Orders, interagency directives, and DHS and component policies.
Developing, implementing, and overseeing policies for the management and administration of programs and personnel governed by Executive Order 12829, National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Conducting preliminary inquiries of actual or suspected compromise of classified information and ensures reporting requirements are met.
Knowledge of industrial security, personnel security, and systems security policies and issues sufficient to formulate interrelated and common DHS-wide security policies and procedures.
Knowledge of DHS and component organizational structures, applicable security policies, and lines of functional responsibility to effectively coordinate with proper officials on a broad range of tasks.
Producing finished documentation such as reports, special studies, policy procedure development.
Ability to conduct analyses, evaluations, and internal inspection of security programs, and present oral and written products
Write and maintain Industrial Security SOP.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
Relevant experience shall include experience within one or more of the standard securities and/or intelligence fields e.g., technical, physical, information, industrial, personnel and operational security.
Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in one or more security and/or intelligence discipline and experience implementing complex government security and/or intelligence programs and policies is preferable.
Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Shall demonstrate a proficiency in various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with ISMS, eQIP, CVS, and/or DISS is preferred, but not required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
