**What You'll Get To Do:**
+ Grow, develop, and manage a diverse team of flight test and field engineers preparing ICBM launch facilities and launch centers for flight testing.
+ Manage personnel conducting missile componentry movement and emplacement, site post-launch recovery and next launch preparation.
+ Lead test procedure development and ensure employees are trained and qualified to perform those procedures

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
**You'll Bring These Qualifications:**
+ 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 4 years with a Masters.

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management: Lead engineering teams in the design, analysis, and optimization of transmission lines. Mentor and develop junior engineering staff. Ability to lead multiple client engagements concurrently, utilizing project contributors from multiple offices
Project Management: Manage all phases of transmission line projects, from conceptual design through construction and as-built support. Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and project deliverables (in collaboration with ENERCON Power Delivery PMO)
Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate transmission line projects into overall infrastructure improvement plans. Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Transmission line engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Senior role available based on industry experience
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, ideally with NCEES record for reciprocity
ERCOT experience required
Expertise with PLS-CADD software suite and MFAD
Experience with NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and other industry-relevant standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join the Space Systems Business Group, where you will provide leadership and guidance to both personnel and programs while managing Umbra's highly skilled Systems Engineering and Test teams. Key Responsibilities
Lead personnel and oversee programmatic initiatives for the Systems Engineering and Test teams within the Space Systems Business Group.
Support the professional growth and career development of spacecraft systems engineers, test automation engineers and software test engineers, incorporating feedback from technical leadership.
Drive innovation and implement process improvements to Umbra's Systems Engineering practices and Test Infrastructure to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Work closely with project, product, and technical leads to understand project scope, ensuring team members execute tasks with high quality and efficiency.
Manage team members in areas such as workload, task assignments, support, development, and conflict resolution.

Required Qualifications
