This position will satisfy Field Service Engineering responsibilities on site related to further establishing Field Service Engineering support services for several program related projects concurrently.
This position serves as a technical bridge between engineering resources and operators/maintainers in the assigned portfolio while reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager. Works to develop and mature standardization, program or site-specific requirements, and risk management strategies, enabling increased probability of success to deliver new technological deliverables within the approved scope. This role is pivotal to supporting the entire team's ability to grow the scope of available Products or Services with a variety of Industry Partners for a globally oriented market in a high-stakes environment. Travel up to 25% is required.
Required Qualifications:
BS in a Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field and a minimum of 4 years directly serving in a technical role, on-site, as a Group 3-5 RPA or General Aviation Special Mission Aircraft Field Engineer (years of Experience in lieu of a degree possible)
US Citizenship and an active secret level security clearance.
Experience in all aspects of ISR systems operational sustainment; avionics, comm systems, computing/networking, mission payloads, and other related subsystems with limited resources
Experience with initial integration and configuration of hardware/software subsystems
Strong understanding and application of using test equipment, for troubleshooting such as but not limited to: Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, Oscilloscope, and multi-meter
Independent ability to plan, prioritize, schedule, and organize multiple management tasks simultaneously according to the importance of projects or management tasks assigned
Experience with developing standard operating procedures (SOP), system block diagrams, and subsystem test plans
Ability to work well with other team members under time-sensitive constraints
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years' experience in Field Engineering Support to RPA/UAS in a global enterprise
Demonstrated technical expertise to ensure the Division's Field Engineering Services are executed, enabling the development, sustainment, and growth of technological deliverables
Hands-on experience with software integration and testing: Windows and Linux operating systems
Hands-on experience with managing/maintaining network architecture
“First flight” field test planning and execution including mitigation of EMI/EMC through design or implementation techniques
Experience within Initial Cadre Teams for Rapid Development and Technology transfer

Much of our work is federal, so employees sometimes have the opportunity to earn prevailing wages (Davis Bacon Act) based on their location.
Responsibilities.
Take charge of all assigned work and maintain a sense of ownership of all scope on-site
Walk the site in an observed manner, taking note of hazards and, when appropriate, correcting them accordingly
Develop an awareness of the entire project to include other trade work
Communicate with fellow crew members, assigned foreman, and with public, customers, or adjacent trade crews when necessary
Install, maintain, repair, replace, test, and commission HVAC equipment

The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting residential heating and cooling systems, performing routine maintenance, and communicating professionally with customers. HOW YOU WILL DRIVE SUCCESS:
Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours

UNDER THE HOOD - WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
Previous experience is preferred but not required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
