The Medical Equipment Technician will make deliveries within the surrounding area. Responsibilities and Duties: Determines with the Dispatch Coordinator the best daily route of the manifest for delivery of orders and pickup of equipment, and communicates with the Dispatch Coordinator on the completion of each stop. Verifies and loads staged orders as prescribed on the work order for delivery, and unloads picked up equipment at completion of route. Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with customers, providing customer orientation, instructing on the proper use of equipment, and working with customers to solve a variety of problems. Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately, returning paperwork to the appropriate facility personnel. Performs daily maintenance on assigned vehicle. Participates in on-call rotation as scheduled Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalence. The Lead Gas Technician performs a wide variety of tasks relating to the planning, installation, and maintenance serving residential, commercial and industrial customers ensuring system safety and reliability. This individual's primary work is on the piping system, pressure regulating equipment, and customer meters. The Lead Gas Technician will enter businesses, industrial complexes, and customer homes and communicate both verbally and in writing with business proprietors, homeowners, and industrial plant owners and operators to explain complex topics. The Lead Gas Technician additionally serves as a resource to other technicians within the group and must be able to train and share expertise in order to advance the department's skill and ability. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a First Responder for odor of gas complaints, CO complaints, and pipeline emergencies. Accurately performs pressure tests using appropriate testing equipment. Performs work orders to include but not limited to: leak calls odor complaints final bills meter installs service turn on/off transfers of service meter re-reads Performs compliance-related tasks as assigned to include but not limited to: leak surveys using leak detection equipment regulator & relief inspections operate key valves cathodic inspections line patrols & exposed pipe inspections Performs systems maintenance and upkeep to include but not limited to: mowing and trimming to maintain right of ways painting above ground appurtenances installing line markers locating and completing necessary documentation.
