POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Working Leader is responsible for keeping the assigned building(s) clean, safe, functional and secure in accordance with the prescribed codes and established district policies and standards. A Working Leader must maintain all assigned building(s) in a state of operational excellence such that they present no interruptions, distractions, or obstacles to the education program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to follow written directions and written instructions whether by Building Principal, on work order or on manufacturer's data sheet and verbal directions from Building Principal, Foreman, Supervisor of Maintenance or Supervisor of Operations where applicable.
Demonstrated ability to organize work and time and work independently.
Demonstrated ability to identify maintenance and safety needs of a building and grounds
Must demonstrate knowledge and abilities to do plumbing and heating repairs, minor building equipment repairs and adjustments. Included is knowledge and use of tools.
Must have experience and knowledge in all phases of commercial custodial cleaning.
Must demonstrate ability in following: Good written and verbal communications skills; good computer skills; good organizational skills; ability to see projects through from beginning to end; good follow-up skills; good record keeping skills; good public relation skills with building staff and visitors; good leadership skills.
Must have ability to perform physical tasks required by this position including the ability to lift heavy objects, ability to climb a ladder or work at heights up to 50 feet and ability to work outdoors in hot and/or cold conditions.
Applicants will be required to take objective written and hands-on skills tests relating to the various activities of this position. Applicants will also be required to take a mechanical test as well. The purposes of these tests are to demonstrate the basic knowledge of the applicant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Because of the nature of the work, this employee must be willing to improve skills necessary for the routine activities of the position and to develop the skills and knowledge for the position.
Directly responsible to the working foreman and/or building principal when school is in session and to the Supervisor of Operations at all other times.
Perform the assigned work schedule following approved custodial job procedures.
Correct minor maintenance problems in the building.
Perform assigned duties in the care of grounds, including mowing of grass in areas immediately around the building and other areas not accessible to large machinery, removal of snow and ice from walks and steps, and care of flowers and shrubbery.
Maintain a neat and clean uniform when on duty.
Project a positive image for the school district with all district employees, students and community members.
Maintain proper and neat storage areas for custodial supplies, equipment and tools assigned to the building.
Maintain building and grounds security by opening/closing the building each school day and during special events as directed.
Assist the principal or building foreman in performing custodial jobs when requested.
Maintain good sanitary conditions of building facilities.
Make arrangements for use of school facilities by non-school groups as indicated on building use requests.
Cooperate, in a pleasant and courteous manner, with all groups that use the building after regular school hours.
Report problems noted in the building to the foreman or principal.
Must have knowledge of the operation of mechanical, electrical and heating units in the building.
Must be familiar with the proper operation and care of custodial mechanical equipment.
Must have knowledge of institution cleaning procedures.
Maintain playground equipment in safe and good operating condition.
Shall be willing to work on call as needed for emergency repairs, overtime, or special needs falling outside the normal work hours.
Shall perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works indoors and will occasionally work outdoors, including both hot and cold weather. The employee may occasionally work with toxic or caustic chemicals such as petroleum products, degreasers, and sprays. The employee must be able to meet deadlines with severe time constraints. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Working on call as needed at any time for emergency repairs, overtime, or special needs falling outside the normal work hours can be expected.
There is a high probability that contact with blood-borne materials will occur within daily duties. All duties and procedures are to be performed within health safety standards as established by local and state OSHA and school district emergency procedures.

Occasionally the employee will lift or move up to 80 pounds, including bags of salt and furniture. The employee will sometimes push or pull items such as tables, bleachers, scrubbing machines, etc. This job requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate, but we will train the right person. You should be available to take evening and weekend shifts . Ultimately, you'll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
Collect payments whether in cash or credit
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
Redeem stamps and coupons
Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
Skills
Work experience as a retail shiftleader/ manager role
Basic PC knowledge
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
Good math skills
Strong communication and time management skills
