About this Role The Warehouser at Potelco Inc. is responsible for receiving, issuing and maintaining all materials necessary for the operation of the storeroom/yard for Potelco's Northern Operations. They are responsible for the disposition of all materials through proper channels. Safety is the number one priority for Potelco Inc. This position requires participation in safety meetings, performing safety inspections, identification and reporting of safety incidents and unsafe conditions, as well as obtaining and maintaining required licenses. This position will support Northern Operations out of our Bellingham office with support responsibilities in Skagit as well. The pay range for this union role is $24.34 to $34.77/hour. Follow all established safety rules and obey safety signs and tags. Properly operate forklift, pallet jack and other necessary powered equipment. Ensure product is inspected for quality, product/pallets properly tagged and rotated. Understand how to read and utilize pick tickets to pick, pack and load orders. Verify that all return labels have been approved/checked prior to placing product back in inventory. Understand and perform all the appropriate HACCP plans assigned. Ensure product is fully received, rotation is complete and product is staged in the correct quantities. Promptly report all needed repairs and ensure preventive maintenance is performed on your equipment.
