QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: * High School diploma or GED required; * College credit hours, preferred; * Interpreter/Translator certification, preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Fluent Spanish speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities * Skill in translating spoken words from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English at a normal speaking rate. * Ability to translate verbal messages to written documents and written documents to verbal messages in both Spanish and English. * Ability to adapt language based on the level of the student and parent. * Skill in utilizing electronic systems to locate and submit data/information * Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities. * Ability to utilize basic office equipment, including fax, copier, scanner, computer, etc. * Proficient skills in keyboarding, word processing, and operating computer software * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments.
