The Mid-Level Systems Engineer will report directly to the Team Lead. Roles & Responsibilities Create, develop, and maintain requirements Support architecture development and CONOPs Support design and implement new tactical capabilities Update, maintain, and utilize various simulation tools to support data analysis Create presentations and reports in support of contract specific requirements. Create, run, and maintain test procedures and documentation. Develop test plans, test procedures, and test cases, incorporating automation where possible. The project engineer will work closely with our civil engineering and architecture teams to support the development of municipal parks and recreation, K-12, higher education, professional athletic facilities, and other land/site development projects, ensuring projects are designed with functionality, sustainability, and safety in mind. Your Impact: Assist in Design: Collaborate with the civil and architectural teams in designing site plans, utilities, drainage, and grading solutions. Previous full-time experience related to land/site development design in Florida is a plus but not required. Engineering Intern (EI) License required. Passed Florida PE Exam preferred, with the expectation of obtaining a Florida Professional Engineering license once qualified. Highly proficient with AutoCAD drafting skills, with a working knowledge of Civil 3D. Highly proficient with design software such as StormWise, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or other industry-related software. Highly proficient with MS Office suite. Strong interest in designing and improving athletic and educational facilities. Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal skills with coworkers, owners, and public agency officials. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity of land development codes, environmental regulations, and construction processes.
