The Operations Manager is responsible for the success of assigned functions within the distribution center, ensuring all key metrics are met, supporting company policies, procedures and safety while creating an inclusive high performance culture. This role oversees the full supply chain process-from raw material ordering to customer shipment-using SAP and MRP systems, while monitoring inventory, production schedules, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The manager leads S&OP processes, drives continuous improvement, provides strategic guidance, manages a team, and maintains strong cross-functional and customer relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead production planning and scheduling to meet customer timelines and requirements. * Execute the monthly S&OP process including capacity analysis and forecasting. * Monitor site activities from raw material ordering to customer shipment, including warehouse, lab, and QA approvals. * Represent the company in customer meetings, providing updates on campaigns and project status. * Coordinate resolution of raw material delays and rejections to ensure uninterrupted production. * Maintain and develop supply chain processes, metrics, and strategies to optimize inventory and minimize working capital. * Drive process improvement initiatives and champion change for efficiency gains. * Manage and communicate direction, objectives, and results to site departments. * Evaluate and develop direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management. * Ensure adherence to cGMP, ESHS, and quality standards in all activities. * Benchmark and network with other sites to optimize planning and scheduling practices. * Provide strategic guidance to drive site revenue optimization and risk management. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Math, or related field (MBA preferred). * 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement preferred * APIC and Six Sigma certifications preferred. * Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. * Excellent decision-making, communication (verbal & written), and relationship-building skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong analytical skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, initiatives, and priorities simultaneously. * Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement. * Up to 10% travel (domestic and international). * Experience in SAP and MRP planning systems.
