KYTC works closely with officials at every level to deliver products and services to its citizens, businesses, and government agencies, continuously working towards improvement. The Division of Driver Licensing (DDL) within KYTC is responsible for the issuance of driver's licenses, maintaining driver's records, and managing driver safety programs. Kentucky's DDL works closely with other state agencies, other states, and federal government agencies. Recently, the Department of Homeland Security enacted federal rules for "Real ID" issuance and record keeping. KYTC must enact these rules to issue federally complaint driver licenses before October 2020. To meet the increased demand, DDL has an immediate need for a group of exceptional individuals to join our organization as Driver License Support Specialists. This opportunity is based in Frankfort, KY at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The rollout of a new digitized license computer system across the state will require travel to issuance locations to all sections of the state.
