Specific duties will involve custom quoting of structured settlement annuities, rate loading/validation, tool building and pricing of deferred and immediate annuities. Your role also supports Life/Annuity/Health actuarial work through one or more of the following activities: data extraction, data transformation, validation and analysis, and system functionality oversight and integration. The analyst will also oversee Fire Alarm Systems and EMCS operations to maintain safety, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the Academy Typical duties include but are not limited to: Analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA, PLC, HMI, and control systems across water, wastewater, and energy infrastructure. Lead diagnostics, calibration, and repair of instrumentation, MCCs, VFDs, and remote communication systems. Program and configure RTUs, PLCs, and IEDs using industrial protocols such as MODBUS, DNP3, IEC 61850, and OPC. Monitor, inspect, and maintain Fire Alarm Systems in compliance with NFPA 72 and UFC 3-601-02 standards. Operate and optimize EMCS platforms to manage HVAC performance and energy usage per Air Force protocols. Conduct cybersecurity assessments and implement protective measures for OT/ICS environments. Generate regulatory reports using historian data and maintain detailed documentation including SOPs and system logs. Collaborate with engineers, operators, and vendors to deploy new technologies and enhance system performance. Respond to emergency situations and participate in after-hours call rotations for SCADA, EMCS, and fire systems. Apply advanced knowledge of PID control strategies, digital electronics, and electrical theory in system operations. Utilize CAD software to review and modify technical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Demonstrate strong programming skills (C, C++, Python, Java) and proficiency with Windows, Linux, and RTOS platforms. Implements and maintains cybersecurity protocols for Civil Engineer Control Systems, including EMSC, FAR, and SCADA. This role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of control system networks and devices that support critical infrastructure across water, energy, HVAC, and fire safety domains. Qualifications: 5 years minimum experience in ICS/SCADA systems, fire protection systems, or EMCS operations Proficient in ICS/SCADA/HMI system design, installation, and troubleshooting Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Java; experience with Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing and modifying schematics and technical drawings Deep understanding of PID control strategies, digital electronics, and electrical theory Experience with NFPA 72 fire alarm standards and UFC fire protection criteria Knowledge of EMCS platforms such as BDOC and HVAC control systems used in Air Force facilities Skilled in database development and record system maintenance Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across departments Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
