Responsibilities
As a local Service Technician, you will play a vital role in installing and repairing propane tanks for our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided service routes
Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers
Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers
On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane
Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts
Requirements
All Service Technicians should have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
Acceptable driving record
Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of service-related functions, including the repair, maintenance, installation, and after-hours phone support for Shimadzu products.

Provide daily repair, maintenance, calibration and installation support for physical measurement instruments.
Perform in-house bench repairs as needed while primarily handling field service calls with limited supervision.
Travel within the local region and other regions if needed (including day and overnight trips) to support customer needs.
Offer technical support via phone to customers and field personnel regarding repairs, maintenance and installations.
Provide training to customers and internal personnel on proper instrument operation and maintenance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects
In conjunction with the Construction Manager (CM), review and provide recommendations toward approval of contractor quality control plan
Attend selective quality control (QC), preparatory and initial meetings, and monitor three-phase checklists for accuracy and thoroughness
Provide relevant remarks on Government Quality Assurance (QA) reports (or in identified section of Contractor's QC reports), particularly on critical, definable features of work included
Take/file/distribute progress photos
Validate quantity, condition, and approval of materials on site prior to Government issuing invoice payments
Coordinate support to review and witness successful testing and commissioning/certification of critical systems (i.e., mechanical - HVAC/TABS/DALTS/DDC, electrical -pad mounted transformers/high-voltage systems/switchgear/automatic transfer switches/frequency converters, fire and life safety/fire protection systems, roofing systems, and underwater structures).
Assure quality workmanship in accordance with specifications and industry standards on concrete/masonry/stucco/ building, envelope/structural steel/bolting/welding, and other building materials/structural systems, as required
Attend/witness selected tests and review all applicable test reports and results
Keep the Government sponsor advised as to the status of projects under his/her administrative and technical control, but the responsibility to plan and carry out the assignment is accomplished independently

General Summary
The Subject Matter Expert (SME)-Technician/Operator II for training devices designs, develops, reviews, and tests training solutions and conducts technician or operator training for defined areas of military expertise in accordance with contractual specifications, standards, and instructions.
Essential Job Functions
* Serves as a SME for the development and delivery of training solutions pertaining to technicians, maintainers, or operators of military platforms, systems, or weapons.
* Works with a team of engineering professionals to analyze, design, develop, and deliver desktop software, virtual/augmented reality simulators, and training devices.
* Works with a team of production and manufacturing technicians to provide technical guidance during all phases of development and implementation.
* Participates in training conferences, In-Process Reviews (IPRs), and other required meetings.
* Must be able to travel in support of data capture, device testing, and delivery.
* Develops testing documentation and device user and operator manuals.
* Supports production and engineering professionals by:
* Troubleshooting systems and/or components.
* Determining suitable replacements of OEM components with Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) components.
* Determining functional and physical fidelity of COTS, simulated components, and software.
* Advising if components are properly installed, and wires are accurately routed and secured.
* Informing functionality of components, subsystems, and systems through interpretation and communication of theory of operation and practical application.
* Identification of spares for logistical support of training devices.
* Identifying tools, test sets, and support equipment to meet training requirements of the device.
* Hardware and Software Integration (HSI).
* Assisting the production team as necessary to meet schedule dates.
* Develops training curriculum and courseware or other instructional products and presents them to the customer.
* May lead a team of SMEs in the performance of Contractor Preliminary Inspections (CPI).
* May lead a team during training device deliveries to ensure proper handling and care of training device while loading, unloading, and transporting/towing events.
* Provides analysis of transportation option based on contract requirement, such as method, location, and environment.
* Oversees and aids in assembly of training device to ensure proper care and installation of components.
* Performs Contractor Final Inspection (CFI) once the device is reassembled at the customer's site.
* Complies with International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) restrictions on export of military hardware and training services.
* Complies with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and security classifications as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
* Must be capable of safely handling government-furnished equipment and materials.
* Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.

**Responsibilities**

Understand operating manuals for preventative maintenance service
Knowledge of control panels and ability to work inside cabinets with rated voltages of 208-460
Use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment to perform duties
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisor
Consult/assist in sales, as necessary
Pass along leads to the respective Sales Representative when received
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
