Provide expert-level technical support and rapid-response troubleshooting for end-users and field teams experiencing hardware and software issues
Conduct proactive and reactive maintenance on all deployed communication and network systems to minimize disruptions
Manage and track equipment inventories, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning
Create and update all necessary technical documentation, including system diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Implement and execute quality control and quality assurance measures to ensure all products and services conform to established standards
Provide documented analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance the quality of products and services
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience with specific tactical communication (TAC), Starlink, MPU-5, Trellis, and Silvus equipment
Proven familiarity with military communication standards and protocols
Expertise in the use of network management tools and software
Knowledge of RF principles and propagation
Experience with satellite communication systems and equipment
Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Compensation:
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $147,000(USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.

Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Technical Business Development Manager, HPC/Advanced Computing, you will:
• Research, identify and develop strategies to expand business in HPC for federal and regulated industry customers in AWS regions, with particular emphasis on AWS Government Regions adoption; including creation of new capabilities and solution sets to meet customer requirements and address emerging trends.
• Work with cross functional teams (sales, solutions architecture, product engineering, etc.) to validate customer requirements, perform feasibility studies and proofs of concept, and define and drive pathways to production adoption.
• Identify specific customer segments, industry verticals and partner markets to approach with targeted value propositions and business case proposals for HPC in AWS Government Regions. Work with the AWS capture, sales and partner development teams to build and qualify pipeline and support partner/customer engagement through the entire sales and business development cycle.
• Research and develop business cases to support detailed product feature requests for federal and regulated industry HPC use cases and workload classes.
• Define, develop and manage HPC-focused AWS programs and initiatives tailored to US Federal and regulated industry customers.

Requirements for Hire:
Experience with Dark Fiber Providers:
Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience splicing and testing fiber optic cables for Zayo and other dark fiber providers, with a demonstrated ability to meet stringent quality and performance standards.
Equipment and Software Expertise:
At least 3 years of hands-on experience using Fujikura fusion splicing machines for high-count fiber splicing (864ct, 1728ct, 3456ct).
Minimum of 3 years of experience performing OTDR and OLTS testing with EXFO testing equipment, ensuring accurate diagnostics and reporting.
At least 2 years of experience producing FastReporter reports for network documentation, with proficiency in analyzing and presenting test data.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:

Key ResponsibilitiesFiber Splicing and Installation

Generate and analyze test results using Fast Reporter or comparable tools for submission to clients.
Advanced Fiber Characterization
Conduct or support Chromatic Dispersion (CD) testing to measure wavelength propagation and ensure compatibility with high-speed transmission systems.
Perform Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) testing to evaluate pulse delay variance and overall fiber quality for 10G/40G/100G systems.
Record, analyze, and document CD and PMD test results to meet customer and industry specifications.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate as-built documentation, splice logs, and cable assignment records.
Submit detailed test reports, labeled diagrams, and QA/QC documentation to the project manager.
Ensure compliance with Vertical's reporting standards and customer requirements.
Safety and Compliance

Work Schedule and Travel
