Your role at Clorox:
To ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment, perform changeovers, set-up equipment, clean and sanitize the equipment, assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.
In this role, you will:
Adhere to all Safety regulations
Conduct assigned Quality Audits/Inspections and accurately complete all associated paperwork to ensure all products meet set quality standards. Ensure proper operation of equipment
Maintain current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Perform line changeovers and set up equipment
Follow guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
Complete equipment maintenance records
Complete OEE tracker sheet
Ability to use production bill of materials to identify product and components by name and by description necessary to complete scheduled production order.
Resolve product and equipment issues and problems
Alert the Shift Lead and/or the Business Unit Leader immediately if there are any safety concerns or equipment downtime issues.
May train and instruct production associates
Recommend proactive action to remedy problems with equipment, componentry, raw materials or product
Assist in the mechanical procedures of the production line, including assisting equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Communicate issues out of the norm to Business Unit Leader
Maintain excellent team-oriented working relationship among team members.
Participate in improvement teams to improve line efficiency, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned
What we look for:
Two (2) years of machining experience with set-up, change-over, shut-down capabilities in a manufacturing environment.
Jar or Weckerle line experience required
Skill Block 2 or higher required
Previous manufacturing experience with adherence to a manufacturing schedule.
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and Pushing or pulling weight in excess of 1000 pounds with a manual hand truck.
High School Diploma required. Some post high school education is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated experience fixing equipment strongly preferred (Standard Timing Model Machine).
Must achieve minimum required score on Mechanical Aptitude Test (Bennett Test)
Demonstrated ability in analytical reasoning skills is required.
Demonstrated abilities of resourcefulness, good judgment, attention to details and a strong work ethic are required.
Good basic math and reading comprehension skills
Must speak and write English
Must achieve minimum required score of 4 or greater on each Work Keys tests.

PURPOSE Analyzes blueprints and other documentation to develop a materials list and cost estimate, which give a reasonably accurate account of material costs to the sales department and customers. These estimates are used by sales for bidding purposes; to confirm construction and labor costs on contract jobs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives information from the sales representative or customer on what materials are required in pricing a job.
Reviews blueprints, drawings & selections sheets to understand specific details and/or any errors/issues. Resolves these issues with Project Manager and/or the customer.
Using packaged estimating software (e.g. DQ2000, Estimating and Quote System), determines the linear and square footage to build wall structures and components such as headers for doors, beams, floor joists, etc.
Assists sales department in supplying information on materials, such as availability, substitutions, and new materials.
Maintains current, up-to-date pricing data.
Determines how to maximize the use of stock material.
Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. May help advise contractors on engineering issues such as how to reduce construction costs on the project.

Associate degree in construction technology from two-year college or technical school preferred. Must have prior (2-3 years) experience within the building construction industry.
COMPETENCIES

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as linear and square feet, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
One to two years related Windows, Microsoft Office experience and/or training. Must have ability to be trained on estimating software. Digitized software experience desirable.
This position impacts the sales department, special projects and manufacturing. It influences the company's ability to compete successfully in bidding for new jobs by accurately pricing materials. It also influences the efficiency of the production lines by providing accurate information regarding materials.

5+ years of product development or product marketing experience in beauty

+ Validate that data from PLCs and other plant-floor systems is accurate and complete for key metrics (e.g., OEE, downtime, yield).

+ Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and central engineering teams to deliver reliable systems that meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
+ Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing to plant engineers, technicians, and operators.
+ Manage outside engineering firms, vendors, and contractors to deliver technical solutions.
**What we look for:**
+ 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, electrical systems and power distribution, control systems, and/or MES configuration.
+ Experience applying NEC, ANSI, IEC, NEMA, and NFPA standards
+ Proven project management skills with on-time, on-budget delivery.
