Topflight company history timeline
Topflight Corporation was founded in 1943 in the United States.
1950 Beginning in its first manufacturing plant in York, Topflight was one of the first label printers in the industry.
1960 Topflight Corporation continued to design and produce printing presses, and aggressively developed a number of advanced labeling solutions, including shrinkable films, self-destructing materials, and unique adhesive applications.
In 1961, Topflight created Adhesives Research to chemically engineer adhesive solutions existing companies could not achieve.
1970 Topflight continued to experiment with several emerging electronic products, offering a number of alternative electronic solutions through conductive printing, sensors, and membrane switches.
To specifically meet the technical needs of membrane switches and biosensors, Conductive Technologies was formed in 1979.
1980 Topflight Corporation continued to expand its product base and expertise with new equipment and materials, and experimented further with printed conductives and specialized pharmaceuticals.
In 1989, Topflight Sverige AB was founded in Åstorp.
1990 With the creation of a specialized product development group, Topflight concentrated on investigating the newest available innovations and technologies.
Partly owned at the time by Topflight Corporation, the Swedish business grew quickly and in 1994 moved to its current premises in Ängelholm.
