Founded in 2000 by Jane Leu, Upwardly Global is the first and longest-serving organization focused on advancing the meaningful inclusion of immigrants and refugees who have international credentials into the United States workforce.
In 2000, the organization received its first official grant from the Three Guineas Fund.
In 2018, Jina Krause-Vilmar took over as the President and CEO of Upwardly Global.
