Tools, equipment, and safety items • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns. • Organizes and operates the tool area and maintains in a superior condition at all times; • Maintains Tool Sign In/Out Log; follows up with checked-out tools that are out longer than recorded; • Ensures Company tools are well maintained; coordinating tool repairs, as required; • Performs a monthly or quarterly, as required by the Controller, physical inventory of all tools; • Maintains inventory of PPE and other safety items required for performance of the work Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High school diploma required; trade school or associates degree preferred • 5 years of warehouse experience, preferably for a mechanical contractor • Working knowledge of HVAC materials and equipment • Working knowledge of tools and power tools • Forklift certification and experience • Strong working knowledge with Excel, MS Office suite, and ERP software • Valid Driver's License • CDL driver's license • Clean driving record REQUIREMENTS • Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Must be organized, able to multi-task, and have a strong attention to detail • Position will require excellent communication skills with exposure to all levels of management. • Extensive knowledge of Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office and ERP software; • Ability to work independently • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing • Negative results on drug screen • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple order requests simultaneously Additional Information An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Supervisor, Off the Floor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the furniture bank's warehouse. This includes managing inventory, coordinating furniture donations, overseeing staff and volunteers, and ensuring that the warehouse operations align with the organization's mission to provide furniture to individuals and families in need. The position reports to Light of Life's Senior Manager of Gift-in-Kind and is accountable to achieve mutually determined goals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of furniture items. * Implement efficient warehouse storage practices to maximize space and preserve the quality of items. * Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate records and timely replenishment. * Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule pickups and deliveries of furniture items. * Manage the warehouse team, including staff and volunteers, providing training and ensuring a safe working environment. * Liaise with other departments, such as client services, to ensure clients' furniture needs are met promptly and efficiently. * Develop and enforce SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for warehouse operations. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Manage budgets and compile reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance. * Foster a collaborative and motivating atmosphere within the warehouse.
